If I was to use 2 of these in my canopy, could I have them linked together but have switches on either side? So both lights turn on/off with either switch?

Thats a great question, and a common one, but the answer unfortunately is no. You can split the line from the power source to run to two dimmers BUT there's no way to bring those two lines back to a single female terminal. Both dimmer switches will have a female terminal on the light side, but if you connect both light bars you end up with one female end, and one male end - so that wont work either.
I have passed feedback on to HardKorr that 'reverse' splitters would be a great addition to the range - the only other thing I can think of is whether or not there would be a DIY or adapter that you might be able to pick up from Jaycar...they have loads of bits and pieces there, and you may be lucky.

Yes it can, the light bar comes with a 12v cigarette lead which plugs straight into the Rover 70Ah.

No, it won't plug into the 2-pin socket, as this is for posi-fit cable terminals only. If you want to use more than one cig-plug device, you'll need a double adapter.

It does have magnets inserted into the back however depending on your tent poles, these may or may not be suitable. For times where the magnets aren't going to do the job, there are the Korr Light Bar Pole Clamps that you can use. These slide into the metal track on the back of the light bar and allow for you to clip the bar onto the pole instead. Hope that helps :)
