Keep your batteries charged up on your next remote getaway with the 120W Solar Charger from Companion.
This 3-panelled system neatly folds up into an inbuilt 900D polyester case and is suitable for charging 40AH to 120AH batteries, including AGM, Gel, Calcium, Li-Ion, LiFeP04, and LiNiMnCo02 (NMC). The A-grade monocrystalline silicon cells have a 19.5% efficiency and generate a maximum output of 6.67 amp per hour at 18V max power. This charger is weather resistant with the cells encapsulated in ETFE lamination. It can become a chainable system if you need to double your output by connecting two 120W solar chargers. There’s an inbuilt adjustable stand so you can position the system at the most optimal angle towards the sun and peg down points will stop it from tipping over.
The 120W Solar Charger from Companion has an integrated pocket so you can keep all the included accessories like the 5m Anderson cable, clamp cable, splitter cable and connectors organised and safe while you’re in transit or in between adventures.

Lay this on car.roof1 answer
Is it safe to lay these solar panels to charge on car roof?
Ann - Melbourne(3 weeks ago)
G'day Ann,
You would not have any issue using your car roof as a stand for these solar panels.

Do I need power station1 answer
I have a Dometic 21L fridge. Can I run it from the solar panel on its own or do I need a power station as well.
Jenni - Grays Point, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Jenni,
You'll need a power station or battery. The Solar Panels convert sunlight into energy, but it isnt regulated or useable in this form. The energy needs to be transferred into a battery, which can then allo that energy to be used by an appliance. There are a few different options available, the most popular being the Rover 40. Give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 if you need more help on picking the right 12v set up.

Weather proofing1 answer
Is this unit weather proof and if so what is it's rating?
Vincent - Modbury, SA (1 year ago)
G'day Vincent,
These don't come with an IPX rating, the panels are mostly water-resistant, so they should be alright in brief showers or light rain. The Solar controller and cables/terminals arent though, so ultimately its best practice to pull these under shelter if the weather turns!

Which size panel?1 answer
I have a lithium rover 40ah from which we run a bushmans 35-52L fridge (and some phones). Wondering whether the 200 watt panel would provide any noticeable benefit over the 120watt panel?
Chris - Alexandria, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Chris,
The Rover 40Ah is only compatible with a max 120W panel, so this one is the ideal choice for your setup. Just be mindful you'll need to bypass the solar controller provided with these panels, but keep it aside because it will be handy if you want to use the panels with an alternative in the future.

Power. 1 answer
Would be run the lithium companion 75L and a 4 bar light connected to the usb of the fridge
Claudio - Surfers paradise, Gold coast(3 years ago)
G'day Claudio,
Considering the size of this fridge and the overall variance in solar output, I would recommend you look at going with the Companion 200w Solar Charger instead.
