Lithium Battery Compatibility1 answer
I have seen other brands suggest similar products only be used with AGM auxiliary batteries. Is this safe to use to jump start a dead cranking battery with a deep cycle lithium battery in the box?

Can't speak for the other brands sorry, but you wont have any issues using the 175A jumper output for jump-starting your vehicle with an internal lithium battery. The battery itself would usually be capable of delivering far more that 175A, so double-check whether or not your battery has a BMS with current protection & those specifications. Jump-starting a very flat or super dead battery can draw a whole whack of amps initially until it recovers some voltage, and it may need to send out several bursts of that at the beginning. If the battery itself doesn't have current protection, the jump cables will get very hot & potentially short, so consider whether or not you'd need to install a fuse.
For the most part though, if you're just doing normal jump starts on batteries that are not long flat, you should be fine.

Is the amp rating high enough to jump start a 4WD?1 answer
Many vehicles need up to 1000amps to be jump started. Even the smallest engines can need up to 300amps. Is this battery box / lead combination capable of jump starting a V6 petrol 4WD like a Toyota Prado? I have a 120ah deep cycle battery.

The 175A Anderson plug rating is for continuous delivery of current, not for the short burst required for a jump start, and most output ratings will be referring to continuous current capacity. The gauge wires on these jump start cables are more than capable of delivering what will be required for your vehicle.
Generally, if your battery box has a jump start output you should be fine, but if you have any doubts you'll need to check the Maximum discharge current of your particular battery. Different brands and chemistries may have different figures. The Hard Korr AGM 125Ah battery we stock, as an example, can do 1200A for 5 seconds.

There is just the one length of jumper leads available for the battery box, so you're limited to 2m. It may be possible to have an auto-electrician wire up something a little longer, however, Hard Korr doesn't manufacture a longer option.

I've just called Hard Korr to check this for you, the wire size in AWG/B&S Gauge is 4AWG or 25mm squared.
