They only fold inwards, not outwards, Wyatt, so you'd be limited with a big wok.

Alot of people just use a small square of thicker gauge steel mesh to go over the burner to address this problem, so that may be a temporary solution for you.

No, camping stoves are for outdoor use only - which, according to Australian Gas Association guidelines, is the following:
- no roof
- at least two of the sides completely open with the open sides being at least half of the total wall area
- one side is open and 30% of the remaining area is unrestricted, eg large, permanently open windows or vents.

The jets on the stove are accessed under the burner ring. If they need cleaning you can easily do this by detaching them and bathing them in a small amount of Methylated Spirits to clean any build-up off. Don't poke a wire down them as this bores out the hole which will affect the gas/oxygen ratio and most properly destroy them. There are some Youtube clips on the web which will also help with information about jets.

Sorry to hear you're having troubles with your stove, this could be for a number of reasons, but it would be worth checking the jets and cleaning them out if your stove won't light. If you purchased the unit from us within the last 12 months and you still have trouble after you've cleaned your jets then the best bet will be to submit a warranty claim via our warranty claims page.

The 3 Burner Gas Cooker Plate is a little bit too big for the 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill. I've just tried it out and would recommend the 2 Burner Gase Cooker Plate instead.

This stove isn't designed to be used from a caravan system as the stove is a high-pressure unit that can't be used on regulated systems. This stove is designed to be used directly from a 3/8" BSP or POL gas bottle, with no regulator.

The 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill is designed to be used directly from a 1-4kg LPG cylinder with a 3/8" BSP thread, so unfortunately you won't be able to use a disposable propane bottle with this stove.

The size of the wire rack on the Grill Plate measures about 22.5 wide by 14.5 deep. The burner is located in the middle beneath the stovetop and is 18cm wide - so doesn't strech the full width of the stove. You should be able to get about 2 pieces of bread to toast on the wire rack.

I've measured our display stock and the stove will comfortably fit two 25cm ovens next to each other. So the stove will definitely be able to accommodate one Oven in the centre of the burner.

You could try turning the grill on to provide extra heat to the centre while using a wide skillet pan, but based on experience we don't think this will really help to add heat. Have you considered something like the Coleman 3 Burner Eventemp Stove that has an extra burner and supplied plate, exactly for that purpose?

Thanks for getting in touch, you can definitely use the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill with a 9kg bottle. There is no need for a regulator, just connect the supplied hose to the fitting, and connect the other end of the adapter to your bottle and you'll be good to go.

Snowys don't have a Sydney store so you won't be able to view the 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill. However, you may be able to find one at another camping retailer to view before you purchase. The size dimensions have listed are spot on, so it should fit ok in the spot you have available in your camper trailer. Delivery is free on all orders over $69 to Sydney.

Unfortunately, there isn't anything you can change to make this hose longer. The only available hose for this stove is the one supplied with the unit. There isn't an alternate hose you can use, but if you wanted to run the stove from a POL bottle you could use the POL-3/8" BSP adapter. This may add a few centimetres of length to the overall hose length.

I've just tried the Campfire Steel Frypan Non-Stick 28cm on the Zempire 2 Burner Stove & Grill. You'll be able to to use this pan with a small saucepan alongside. The Hyperflame FyreKnight will be able to easily fit two 28cm pans alongside each other.

We wouldn't recommend placing any stove and grill on a regular camp table as they're generally coated with a plastic laminate and can damage quickly from heat.  I'd suggest either using a wooden cutting board or heat mat to add an extra layer of protection. Alternatively, you can grab a Zempire Stove Stand to keep your Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill separate from the table altogether.

The side windshields on the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill aren't removable and stay upright when detached from the lid so they're best to be used with smaller pots/pans.

The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove and Grill will fit in the Oztrail 2 Burner Stove Canvas Bag, both the Gasmate BBQ Plate - Double or the Campfire 2 Burner Gas Cooker Plate will fit the stove.

We have display stoves in our store, Amanda, but they are not connected to gas... that would be an OHS nightmare! We often end up selling our display stoves too so prefer not to light them if possible. I assume that Brendale is your local store, I'd suggest calling 1300 914 007 and asking for the Brendale sales team and speak to them to see what they can do to help... at the very least you'll be able to see the stove out of the box.

The hose length on the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill is 60cm long. At this point in time there is no hose on the market that will fit this stove that is longer, so you might to pick up a small 3/8" BSP Gas Cylinder to put on the table next to the stove.

I've had a chat with our warranties manager about this one and it's not something that he's heard of before. He thinks that it could potentially be that one of the holes in the burner of you Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe Stove & Grill hasn't formed properly and the whistle is caused by the gas going through a hole that's too small. Alternatively, it could be a hose issue. I'm sorry that we couldn't be more help than that but without looking at it, we'd just be guessing.

The Zempire stoves don't come with spare jets, it is very rare that a new jet would be needed. That being said, Zempire has the jets along with most other components as spare parts for their stoves, so should you have any problems or require a replacement, we can sort that out for you.

I've had a chat with one of my colleagues who has long been a Scout leader, Daniel. Daniel suggested that it would depend a lot on what sort of cooking you were doing & how many people you were cooking for but that somewhere between a 2 & 4kg gas bottle should do you well for 4 days of camping.

I've taken my tape measure to the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill for you. If you don't connect the back/lid to the side windshields, then you should be able to fit your griddle plate (just) with the sides folded out as far as they go.

The flame on the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill is mostly blue, although the ends are orange, where the flame gets colder. When you pump the heat up, it'll be mostly blue. It can be turned down to a simmer as well but the flame will be mostly orange.

I've just had a chat with our cooking expert, Kevin. He told me that the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill is a high-pressure stove and can't operate with a regulator. So unfortunately, it looks like it won't work through your regulated bottle I'm sorry to say.

The distance from the base to the bottom of the clips on the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill is exactly 100mm. I took my tape measure to the stove to check the width, including the clips and can confirm that the width does include the clips. I measured it at about 490mm wide with the lid shut down, including the clips. It's probably worth noting too that when the clips are extended out as far as possible from the edge of the stove, they add about 30mm extra to the width.

I've just gone down to the shop floor to try the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe & Grill in the Hyperflame Bag as well as the Oztrail alternative. I can confirm that they both fit quite easily. As for which is the better fit, flip a coin, the Hyperflame is more roomy and easier to zip up but is a bigger bag and the stove moves a little more inside, the Oztrail fits more snuggly but I think there's a small about of tension on the zip that may cause the stitching to come undone over time.

I've just asked our resident gas expert, Kevin & long story short, absolutely you can. Just make sure that your hose doesn't have a regulator as this stove does not need a regulated gas supply.

The Hyperflame Fyreknight and 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill both have 12000 per burner, a piezo ignition and the same gas fitting – so they are similar in a lot of ways.

The main difference here is that the 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill comes with a grill, so it will give you a few more options for the types of meals you can cook. The Hyperflame is a bit longer, and has pot supports so it might be easier to cook with larger frypans pots etc which is something to note as well.

Both are great stoves, but I would say that the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe is perhaps a bit more versatile.

Yep - the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill comes with everything you need to get the cooking. 

The only thing you might need is a gas fitting depending on your gas bottle. The included hose is for a 3/8 gas fitting, but if you have a gas bottle with a POL gas fitting, you'll need this adapter.

The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill comes with a 60cm hose. If you want something longer there is a Companion 1.2M hose available as a separate purchase.

UPDATE 3/12/19: We've found out that the Companion High Pressure FIne Thread Hose doesn't actually work with this unit so you'll have to stick with the 60cm long hose the unit is supplied with.

While both stoves have a 3/8" fitting, there are two different types of these. The Primus 2 burner stoves have a 'coarse thread' fitting. For the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill, you will need a 'fine thread' hose. 

It's not quite going to fit sorry Aaron, I just gave it a go myself. The grill section is 39.5cm long and 7cm high.

You could use something like the Campfire Square Fry Pan 24cm, this will fold up and go in the grill section, but I'd recommend packing it in a soft bag such as an old pillowcase or canvas bag.

While there is nothing physically stopping you from using this stove indoors, we wouldn't recommend it. All camping stoves are designed to be used outdoors where consistent ventilation and open space are available and hence don't come with any form of indoor safety rating or recommendation.

I've looked through our system, and we don't have any right angle gas connectors in our range. As far as we know, it may be hard to come by one, so you may have to go somewhere local to check out what they have available.

I have just tried the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill with the Oztrail Canvas 2 Burner Stove Carry Bag and found that it just fits in there. 

As the edges of this stove are rounded off, you can stretch the bag to fit the width, despite the dimensions.

It's not a perfect fit, but as far as I can find we don't have anything else that's suitable in the range at this time - so it's up to you whether you would be happy with a stove bag that requires a little more effort to use.

The main difference between the two is that the Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill is more powerful than the Gasmate Stove and Grill. 

The BTU per burner on the Gasmate is 6850 for the stove, and 4500 for the Grill whereas theZempire is 12000 for the stove, and 6000 for the grill.

The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill has a 3/8" BSP fitting, so it will connect directly to a gas bottle that has a 3/8" BSP fitting. When you go to purchase gas just let them know which fitting it is, and they can guide you to the correct cylinder. 

This unit does come with a hose included, but not an adaptor. You won't need an adaptor unless you want to use this stove with a gas cylinder with a POL fitting.

The Zempire 2 Burner Deluxe and Grill has a rate of 135 g/h for the grill burner, and 540 g/h for the 2x stove burners. The Zempire model is going to be a lot hotter, so that's why there is such a big difference.
