Can this panel charge the Ledlenser ML6 rechargeable lantern?
Libby - Healesville, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Libby,
Yep. The two products link up nicely. It's worth remembering that the solar charger is best described as a trickle charger so charging the ML6 will take a few hours with the panels in full sun.

What kind of portable chargers can you use with this charger, ie are Goal Zero power banks compatible like the Venture 70?
Sherri - Munruben, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Sherri,
The 21W Solar Charger has two USB outlets, so it can be used to charge most USB power banks. It is compatible with the Goal Zero Venture 70, the Biolite Charge Powerbanks and a range of other USB power banks with larger capacities.

Overcharging protection 1 answer
Hi guys will the unit detect that battery is fully charged and switch off from charging to prevent battery from being overcharged, overheating or being damaged due to excessive charging
Steve Miller - Oak flats , NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Steve,
These Solar Chargers only have a USB output and no solar regulator, so they don't have a mechanism to prevent overcharging. Generally your USB battery pack / phone / device will have a built-in mechanism to avoid overcharging, in the same manner as plugging the USB cable into a wall outlet.

is it water proof ?1 answer
Shower proof Waterproof ?
Trevor - Yankalilla(3 years ago)
G'day Trevor,
The 21W Solar Charger isn't waterproof, however, it does have a weather-resistant lamination, so if it is exposed to some accidental rain it should be ok, but we wouldn't recommend leaving it out in the rain.
