Will the Trangia 25-1 work with a non-Trangia branded Camp Kettle? Also, do you sell the Trangia cutting board/strainer attachment? 1 answer
Will the Trangia 25-1 work with a non-Trangia branded Camp Kettle? Also, do you sell the Trangia cutting board/strainer attachment?
Christian - Wellington Point, QLD(4 years ago)
G'day Christian,
It's hard to say whether a non-Trangia Camp Kettle will work with the Trangia 25-1, it will depend on the diameter, and whether the camp kettle will fit into the designated spot over the burner. We can special order the Multi-disc cutting board/strainer in for you from the supplier, just send us an email in response to this and we'll send through the details.

Pots and pan 1 answer
Hi do you sell the replacement pan (220mm) and pots (1.5 & 1.75L) for the Trangia 25-1 and if so how much? Cheers
Mark - Upwey(7 years ago)
G'day Mark,
I've just had a look through our system, and it seems we don't sell the replacement pan or 1.5, 1.75L pots for the Trangia 25-1. Unfortunately our range of Trangia products is quite limited, so I do apologise about that Mark.

Can it run on shellite?1 answer
Just wondered if you can use shellite instead of metho?
Barry - PORTLAND, VIC(8 years ago)
Hi Barry,
I've taken this one straight from the Trangia page for you, as it's the most accurate and up-to-date information on their product range. "Use alcohol based fuels only (such as methylated spirits). Never use gasoline or other petroleum based fuels as this may result in serious injury." So I'd stick to the tried and tested metho. Hope that helps. Nat

Can you attach the gas burner?1 answer
Its a gas burner, pipe and you can use a gas cylinder rather than methylated spirits. Some (or maybe all now?) Trangias have a hole in the side for the pipe to run through. Does this one have the hole? And do you sell the gas burners to fit?
Sally - HOWDEN, TAS(8 years ago)
G'day Sally - Oh, I get you now. Indeed, it is compatible with the Trangia gas burner. We don't currently stock this burner but we should be able to order it in if you're interested? Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

Does this fit the gas burner kit?1 answer
Sally - Howden(8 years ago)
G'day Sally - By 'gas burner kit' do you mean the spirit burner pictured? If so, absolutely. The entire stove kit fits inside itself. Very compact and easy to pack. Hope that helps. Cheers, Paul

Trangia kettle1 answer
I'm interested in the large Trangia, but with a kettle. How much would the complete unit cost? Thanks
Catherine - Wollongong(8 years ago)
Hi again Catherine - I have sent you an email with the up-to-date pricing. We prefer not to publish it in the Q&As as the pricing information on these product pages is dynamic so if it changes it could be confusing to people. Cheers, Paul
