Thicker mattress1 answer
I have an air-volution AD900 swag with standard 50mm mattress, would the 70mm mattress fit and roll up okay as the corners on existing mattress are shaped to fit around inflatable poles.
Russell - East Wagga Wagga, NSW(2 years ago)
G'day Russell,
There shouldn't be an issue with rolling it up, but you may have some problem with the corners folding. Depending on how you feel about it, you could cut the corners of the mattress yourself, to suit.

Darche 900 Wide Swag Mattress1 answer
I am looking to buy the 900 wide darche to go on top of my 82cm wide camp bed, will this work? Or won’t sit properly as too wide?
Jo - Morningside, QLD(2 years ago)
G'day Jo,
I'm not sure what camp bed you have but in the case of stretchers, for example, a small amount of mattress overhang is absolutely fine.

Mattress 1 answer
HI, Will this item fit in and suit the Coleman instant swagger 3p Tent ?
Dan - Caloundra West, QLD(3 years ago)
G'day Dan,
Yes, there will be loads of room for the Darche 900 Wide Swag Mattress in the Coleman Swagger 3P tent. Just remember that the mattress will have to be removed for pack up, you cannot fold the tent away with the mattress left in.

Vacuum expansion1 answer
Hi Snowys, The tag says it takes 12 Hours to expand to normal size from being vacuumed. It’s been 24 hours and it is no where need expanded, could there be an issue or should I wait more days. Bit annoying as I was wanting to use. Thank you.
Jason - 4011(3 years ago)
G'day Jason,
Thanks for reaching out, although the tag recommends 12 hours for expansion, from experience we tend to recommend leaving it for up to a week. A warmer climate will help to aid the re-expansion, so if you've got a sunroom or a nice warm area of the house that should get you re-expanded and in action a little more quickly.

Do these mattresses roll up for travel?1 answer
As above
Bec - Bellambi(3 years ago)
G'day Bec,
These mattreses are designed to be popped in a swag and rolled up, so there is no reason you couldn't roll them up for transport and use some rope or similar to secure them.

I want to top up my existing 50mm with another 50mm mattress. Will my Darche dusk to dawn swag be able to roll up with 100mm of mattress and fit in the carry bag1 answer
As above
Nick - Maroubra(4 years ago)
G'day Nick,
You'll probably find that you won't be able to fit your swag back in the bag if you use two x 50mm mattresses in your dusk to dawn swag.

Confirming these are high density foam mattresses1 answer
As above
Sev Andreassen - Annandale(4 years ago)
G'day Sev,
The 900 Wide Swag Mattress is described by Darhce as an open-cell foam construction, there is no mention of the foam being high density sorry.

5cm v 7cm1 answer
Considering the 7cm , looking for comfort but not soft, any thoughts?
Helen - Toowoomba(4 years ago)
G'day Helen,
Both of these mattresses are made from open-cell foam, so they will have a similar level of compression. We'd say people after a little more comfort go for the 7cm and we've not heard of anyone saying it's too soft.
