Pillow lock1 answer
Does this pillow have the pillow lock system.
Renea - Brisbane(4 years ago)
G'day Renea,
The Pillow Lock system is actually attached to the sea to summit mattresses. The fabric of the pillow base itself adheres to the pillow lock tabs on the mattress and stops it sliding around. So yes, the pillow is compatible with a mattress that has pillow lock.

pillow lock1 answer
I have a different brand and it slides around on my mattress. will this be better? I have the seatosummit ether light mattress and im hoping this pillow will stay in place!! thanks
summa - castlemaine(4 years ago)
G'day Summa,
The Sea to Summit Pillow lock system is honestly great. As long as your Ether Light mattress came with the stick on patches you'll find out just how great the system is. It works using a similar concept to velcro, but it's super soft and will stop your pillow sliding side to side or up and down.

Is this the 'premium' model?1 answer
There seem to be many models. Confusing?
Pete - Holgate(5 years ago)
G'day Pete,
You're correct mate, this model is what Sea to Summit call Premium. I'll ask our web team to update the naming of these. Just to break it down a bit, they make four models in both an Ultralight and Premium finish. The Traveller, Deluxe, Large and Regular.

How to inflate?1 answer
I'm looking at this for my son for cadets. Can you tell me if it can be blown up manually or if it needs a pump?
Jen - West Pymble(5 years ago)
G'day Jen,
The Sea to Summit Aeros Pillow comes with a valve that allows either inflate or deflate only, which makes it really easy to blow up. Your son shouldn't need a pump to inflate his pillow.

Suitable for winter?1 answer
Newbie on cold weather camping. I stayed away from airbed because what I've read about cold air seeping through so bought a self inflating mat. Applying the same principle, will this pillow be cold although it is on top of a sleeping bag and on top of a mattress?
Gareth - Melbourne (6 years ago)
The same principle can be applied here Gareth, a pillow filled with foam will insulate better than an air filled one, but given you are using it within a warm environment i.e. on top of your may and inside your sleeping bag, then I would personally place a bigger focus on weight and packed size.
This being said, this Aeros pillow with the brushed polyester cover will offer some insulation over an above the ultralight models without the cover, so it's a good balance of all things we've mentioned here.
