A pump that doubles as a dry sack, the Sea to Summit Airstream Pumpsack will inflate your sleeping mat in just 2-3 cycles.
This pump is made from a lightweight and durable 15D UltraSil® fabric with a foot loop and valve plug for inflation. It can be inflated with just one breath using the venturi effect, and it will take only 2-3 cycles to use this pump sack to inflate your Sea to Summit mat – so no more dizziness! When you’re not using it to inflate your mat, the Airstream can be used as a vacuum bag to store your down sleeping bag or as a handy dry sack.
Get your mat set up faster on the trail with the Airstream Pumpsack from Sea to Summit.
Is it compatible with zempire monstamat?
G'day Antonia,
No, its not. The Air Stream dry sack is compatible with Sea to Summit and Exped mats only as they use a similar, specialised valve.
My bag leaks right along the seams; all of them. About 2 years old and stored inside in a coolish environment. Can I get another one or repair this one?
G'day Tony,
Sounds like something isn't quite right here. Sea to Summit backs their gear with a Limited Lifetime Warranty, so please head over to our warranty claims page and we'll do our best to get a solution sorted out for you.
Is this compatible with the new Nemo Tensor pads?
G'day Dan,
We don't sell Nemo, so it's hard to know, however the Air Stream Dry Sack will suit a 20mm valve which is what a few of the other companies on the market are currently using, so it would be worth checking with Nemo on that.
Exped
G'day Lee,
Thanks for the question about the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack. You should be able to use this with any Exped mat with a 20mm valve, or if you have an older
The description says works for S2S and Exped? My Exped mat has a different plug to my s2s pillow. If not compatible is there an Exped version?
G'day Peter, this is going to be a long answer sorry, we did a little research and testing. The Exped
Will the Sea to Summit Comfort Plus Insulated Sleeping Mat fit inside this?
The Air Stream Pump Sacks are pretty large sacks Kate, you'll easily fit any of the Sea To Summit hiking mats into this, along with a bit of other gear.
They are made of lighter weight material than the regular stuff sacks, so I'd keep the contents of it to soft items such as your mat and some clothing.
Or would I be better off with a compression bag for the sleeping bag and use this for something else?
G'day Jan,
For the sake of durability and easier packing, I would recommend getting a compression sack and using the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack for something else. The Air Stream Dry Sack is quite thin and compact and could just be rolled up with the sleeping bag if need be.
Will it fit the large insulated ultralight?
G'day Ian,
Just the one size in the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry sack. Your Sea to Summit Ultralight Insulated mat will fit no worries.
Are there any adapters that could be used to increase its compatibility with mats made by other manufacturers?
G'day Darrell,
Unfortunately the Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack is currently only compatible with the range of Sea to Summit mats and there is no adaptor available.
G'day Darrell,
We are not aware of any adapters for this pump sorry Darrell.
Is this compatible with Exped SYNMAT valve?
G'day Tim,
The Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack is not made to be compatible with Exped Mats, so it's not going to fit with the Synmat unfortunately.
Hi everyone, just to clarify we've tested this out again and it looks like the Air Stream Dry Sack will fit with the Exped mats that have the 20mm size valves. Apologies for the confusion!
Will this work with the thermarest mat - neoair?
Hi Graham,Â
Unfortunately the valves are different sizes so this pump won't work with your Thermarest mat, sorry!Â
Hello Snowy, What is the liter capacity of the S2S Air Stream Dry Sack when not used as a pump and just how is it fill with air when it is used as a pump?
G'day Michael,Â
The Sea to Summit Air Stream Dry Sack has a 20-litre capacity, and to fill it with air you just blow into it once and the sack will be inflated.
To get an idea of how many compressions are necessary to inflate a mat, a Sea to Summit mat will take two to three compressions with the Air Stream Dry Sack.Â
