Hi, Does this have a valance to hold it in place like the oztrail comforter queen one does? If so, Is it wide enough to fit on 2 exped mega mats joined together? The oztrail doesn't fit but it's very comfy to use. If not, can you recommend one similar to oztrail that's wider and has the valance to hold it in place?

No valance on the Alaska sleeping bags. Valances are actually quite uncommon to find on sleeping bags, and not many people actually use that feature. The only other sleeping bag I know of with a valance is the Quest Wintertime, but it's the same size as the Oztrail Comforter. Two EXPED Mega Mats next to each other is 154cm, and the Oztrail comforter valance is 150cm wide, so it should fit over the two mats firmly, but quite well. Perhaps using mat coupler straps to secure the mats together tightly might help?

If you use the compare function you will see that there is some different materials used and the Alaska has a longer warranty period. Our warranty team have advised we do not get either of them back for any quality reasons so this purchase may come down to individual features of each bag that best suit you. Good Luck!
