an they be carried horizontally without a risk of leaking1 answer
can they be carried safely lying on their narrow side instead of standing upright without a risk of leaking
David - Cairns(3 years ago)
G'day David,
They have a pretty good seal on them so we think they should be ok horizontally, however just keep an eye on them in warmer weather or when the pressure changes a little to make sure they don't leak at all.

Inlet size 1 answer
What is the diameter of opening size at the smallest point? Will the Jerry can accept hi-flow diesel nozzles (32mm diameter)?
Aleks - 2607(4 years ago)
G'day Aleks,
I've measured the opening at the smallest point and it is 28mm, so unfortunately you won't be able to fit a high flow fuel nozzle into the opening.

Is it safe to store drinking water in this?1 answer
.
Mahalia Boothman - KINGS MEADOWS(5 years ago)
G'day Mahalia,
Thanks for reaching out. The Haigh Fuel Safe Yellow Diesel Jerry Cans are designed for fuel, so while they theoretically could hold water we're not sure how safe the plastic is for drinking water. We do sell Jerry Cans that are suitable for water storage that you can find here.
