Do you stock replacement plugs?
G'day Amanda,
We don't I'm sorry - try getting in touch with OZtrail directly spareparts@adventureoperations.com
Is an electric pump available for this bed
G'day Sue,
Yes, there are a range of electric pumps that can be used with these beds. Please check the "you might also like" section directly below the Q&As section for some options.
Will this fit a Darche Safari 350? Worried about the tents sloping sidewalls Thanks
G'day Chris,
You'll be able to use the Oztrail Anywhere Bed with the Safari 350 tent, but you will need to use the Safari Tent A-Frame Pole Kit instead of the central pole.
Hope that helps!
What kind of valve does it have for inflation? I have a very good Bike pump but don't know if that would "fit" the inflation hole of the mattress?
G'day Philip,
The Anywhere Bed has quite a large opening so unfortunately, your bike pump won't work for this bed. If you have a look under the 'you might also like' section on the product page there is a range of pump options that will suit.
does this come in a Double sized bed at all?
G'day Amanda,
The Oztrail Anywhere Bed just comes in Single and Queen sizes at this point in time.
I have a queen anywhere bed and l need a new mattress, and how much? Thanks
**update 14/10/20 - we've since found out this combination doesn't quite work. You'll need the Anywhere Bed Replacement mattress. You can purchase them directly from Oztrail here.
Hi There, just wondering if it will fit in an RV-3 tent?
G'day Alice,
The Anywhere Bed Queen will fit in the RV3 across ways, but not lengthways, due to the angle of the rear tent fabric.
I have a double swab, mainly for more room for myself Keen to use a camp stretcher but I am worried about the overhang of the mattress., at the same time I don't want a pole right down the middle Is this or some other product suitable?
G'day Jeff,
Theoretically, a Double Swag could be put on an Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen, but we're not sure how it would go as the swag would have to be placed on top of the airbed component of the bed. You can certainly try it, but we general;ly direct people wanting to try this toward a Queen Stretcher.
We currently have a Coleman Queen Double High Quickbed, how does your bed compare to this as not happy at all with this type of bed, and have only just bought it .
G'day Glenn,
Thanks for getting in touch, the Anywhere Queen Bed will fit in the Northstar Darkroom 10P Tent. They are comparable to the Coleman Double-High Quickbed you have, as they are also an airbed. If you're looking for something a little more comfy and with better insulation, we'd suggest checking out the Self-Inflating Mat range on our website.
Hi, Will this fit in the Coleman Instant Up Gold 6P Tent?
G'day Stephen,
I haven't been able to try this out for you as I don't have a display model anywhere bed, but we have tried this with a Queen Stretcher before and there was plenty of room, so you shouldn't have any trouble fitting the Anywhere Bed Queen inside the Instant Up Gold 6P.
Would you recommend putting foam mats under the bed legs to prevent it from puncturing the tent floor?
G'day Sharon,
We do find that some people will but some foam underneath the legs, or retro-fit some foam plates on the bottom of the legs to protect their tent floor. You don't have to, but it would be a good measure to ensure your floor is protected.
Can you lower thr height of the bed ? I have a 4p coleman pop up tent looking for the best mattress for that which has best comfort and doesnt take up alot of room when travelling . What to purchase by the end of this week as using it next friday
G'day Kasia,
No sorry mate, the legs on this one are not adjustable. And as far as space-saving mats/mattresses that offer maximum comfort, I recommend you check out the Black Wolf range or the Expeds. These are our most popular and reliable, especially the self-inflating mats. Hope that helps :)
i know based on the dimensions it should fit, but the chalet 9 as you would know has the slanted ends. Would that be resting on the bed?
G'day Nathan,
We don't have a display of the Anywhere Bed for me to confirm, but from examining the end rooms of our display Chalet 9 tent, and going off the Anywhere Bed dimensions, it's likely that the slanted end walls would rest on the bed.
We have been looking for a stretcher for our self inflating mat (10cm) and was wondering if you think this would work? And if there is a bar that runs down the middle and if so would it be an issue?
G'day Mel,
There is a bar running down the centre of these. All double stretchers will have this otherwise the two occupants would end up rolling into each other in the middle. If you don't need the inflatable bed I'd recommend looking at the Oztrail Easy Fold Queen instead. I've tried out one of our 10cm self inflating mats on this and it does work reasonably well. It does 'tilt' a little where it sits across the bar but I think that's just because I was trying it out on my own. With two people holding it down it should work fine.
I am looking at using an Exped Megamat instead of the inflatable that comes with this stretcher. How does the stretcher part compare to the Oztrail Easy Fold? I want to use a double mat instead of attaching two singles (like I would need to with Easy Fold)
G'day Riaan,
The Oztrail Anywhere Bed does have a bar running down the middle, very similar to the Oztrail Easy Fold Queen. All double stretchers will have this, otherwise, the two occupants will end up rolling into each other in the middle. I've just tried out an Exped Megamat Duo on the Easy Fold, and whilst the bar does cause the mat to 'tilt' when there's just one person trying it out, I think with two people on there it would work reasonably well though.
G’day. I’m just wondering if this would be suitable to use under a queen size swag - without using the air mattress? Cheers
G'day Andrew,
The Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen is designed to be used as a complete unit with the air mattress so it's hard to say whether the base would be too hard to be comfortable under a swag. You might be better off with a Queen Strecher.
Can the flannel be taken off for cleaning purposes as I bought one second hand.
G'day Tamara,
You can't remove the flannel component sorry, only the inflatable section so you can repair it if it is punctured. We'd suggest grabbing a fitted bed sheet at Kmart or similar to slip over the top.
Would you recommend over a air bed?
G'day Jonathon,
The air mattress inside the OZtrail Anywhere Bed Queen is contained inside the outer cover that attaches to the bed, the mattress itself isn't stuck to the frame, it's just inside the cover. As for comparing it to any other airbed. It's much of a muchness, really. The airbed will be effectively the same as any other, you'll just be higher off of the ground which some people need or appreciate.
What pump would you recommend for this bed?
G'day Karen,
It does depend a little on whether or not you wanted to have a manual or a powered pump for your Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen. Most of these pumps will do the job for you without too much concern though.
We have had bad times with punctures and would like to put a self inflating mat (10cm) on this. I know there will be some loose fabric but will it otherwise fit?
G'day Bell,
As long as the length and width fit within the Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen, then you should have no issues using a self-inflating mat instead of the airbed.
Need to ensure it fits in the RV5 please. Thanks heaps.
G'day Peta,
I've just had a quick look at the RV5 for you and the Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen should fit if you run it left to right in the tent. You won't have a huge amount of room for much else in there though.
Camping out of the way and won't have ability to pop in and purchase another air mat if it springs a leak. We will take a spare as well, but hoping we won't need it...
G'day Peta,
I'm yet to hear any negative feedback about the Oztrail Anywhere Bed Queen at all, which is probably a good sign. I would say that they're about on par with many of the other quality airbeds that we stock.
