The aluminium frame is super lightweight but provides plenty of support with high impact ABS fittings for strength. The seat is made from two-tone dobby polyester with a non-sag surface, and you can kick back in one of the five reclining positions. This beach chair has 5 fixed reclining positions, one of which includes laying fully flat. As the rear bar is curved, its relatively comfortable and shouldn't cause any issues in that spot.

I've just tried the beach chair and what looks like a bar is actually just a crease on the fabric. It fairly comfortable and I love the layback feature!
