Darche Charcoal Starter1 answer
Does this produce enough coals for a Dutch Oven setyup or do you need to fire it up twice?
Jeffrey - St Ives, NSW(7 months ago)
G'day Jeffrey,
That like asking how long a piece of string is. It entirely depends on the size of te oven you're using, if you want coals underneath aswell as ontop, and what you're cooking. You may be able to use one batch, you may need two. You may need to do a couple of batches over a period of time depending on what you're cooking.

BBQ Charcoal Starter - is teh intent to use this st get coals started to use in another fire pit?1 answer
Clearly this can be used stand alone however primarily is the intent to use this to get coals started to use in another fire pit?
Ian - Coolah, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Ian,
Yes, that's correct. The handles on the side allow you to transfer and tip into a separate fire pit, which makes things abit easier.

Will the handle be hot when starting charcoal? Do I need to wear gloves use it? Thanks.

G'day Peng,
Yes the handle will get hot once your charcoal has started burning, so it would be wise to wear gloves.
