A great all-rounder to keep in your camping kit, then Big Foot T-Nut Steel Tent Pole is a robust and easy to use choice for your outdoor adventures.
This adjustable pole features an 8mm steel spigot on one end, and a high-quality screw and T-nut to secure it. The end also has a nylon cap with drainage holes to give your set up more stability. Manufactured from hi-tensile steel, this pole also has a galvanised coating which will help resist rust from exposure to the elements.
With a few different sizes available, you can get the perfect size to customise your camping set up to your exact needs.
Can you please advise the diameter of the pole foot cap? I am wondering if it will it fit in the SupaPeg yellow pole plate, which takes up to 35mm diameter pole caps.
G'day Richard,
I didn't measure the base of the Big Foot Pole, sorry, but I did try them out with the pole plate and they fit nicely with some room to spare.
That's great! Thanks Lauren.
I see from previous questions that the spigots are too large to fit a coleman awning eyelet, however the other recommended poles seem to have poor reviews. I was wondering if there was some sort of spigot adapter or replacement spigots I could use on these poles to achieve a narrower spigot? Or any other simple hack you can think of?
G'day Steve,
The advice from the experts here is to grind down the spigot to make it fit if you've got your heart set on the Supa-Peg poles, or the other option would be to remove the eyelets you want to pop the poles through and upgrade them to a larger size using the Eyelet & Tool Set.
Hi, wanted to confirm where these poles are made? Was under the impression Supapeg poles were made in AUS. Thanks
G'day Terry,
Most of the Supapeg poles are made here in Australia, however unfortunately not the Big Foot T-Nut Steel Poles.
Is the T-Nut at the top or bottom of the bottom pole? I know the image is on the top, but have seen Supa-Peg poles with it on the bottom portion. Would prefer on the bottom to save water getting in the bottom part of the pole.
G'day Shane,
The T-nut is part of the bottom pole, the bottom pole has a wider diameter, and the narrower top pole slots inside of it.
See above
G'day Sarah,
Unfortunately, I don't have a Bedarra Tent on hand to test out for sure, however, I can tell you the diameter of the spigot on the Supa Peg Big Foot T-Nut Steel Tent Pole is 8mm, which is a fairly standard size.
You should be able to measure the eyelet diameter on your Bedarra Tent to see if they'll fit.
Hope that helps!
Hi, the Supa Peg Big Foot T-Nut Steel ten pole are compatible with the Coleman Northstar awning? Thanks
G'day Jamo,
I've had a chat with a colleague who is an expert with the Coleman Instant Up tents, unfortunately, the spigots are too large to fit through the eyelets. Good news though, the Oztent Alloy Pole will fit the eyelets on the Coleman Northstar tent.
Will these fit the window awnings of the Black Wolf Turbo tent?
G'day Dean,
I've just double checked and the Big Foot T-Nut Steel Tent Poles work with the Black Wolf Turbo Tents.
Are these compatible with the Coleman Instant Up Gold series as replacements for the awning poles? Sometimes the spigot is too thick for the holes.
G'day Jason,
I've just tried the Big Foor T-Nut Pole with a Coleman Instant Up and unfortunately, the spigots are too large to fit through the eyelets. Good news though, the Oztent Alloy Pole will fit the eyelets on the Instant Up tents.
is the size extended or minimum size
G'day Mark,
The Supa Peg Big Foot T-nut poles have a minimum length of 130/156/170cm and are adjustable to a maximum length of 230/275/305cm for the three different sizes.
I was thinking this would suit better for the adjustable height. Thank you
G'day Belinda,
Yes, the Supa Peg Big Foot T-Nut Steel Tent Poles will work well with the Oztrail Hiker Fly.
hi there would these poles be compatible with the oztent RV awning? will the spigot fit into the eyelets? thanks
G'day Zoe,
Yes, the Supa Peg Bigfoot T-Nut Steel Tent Poles have a standard size spigot that will fit the eyelets on the Oztent RV awnings.
**Update 12/12/18 - We've just found out that the Supa Peg Big Foot T-Nut Steel Tent Poles don't quite fit the Oztent Eyelet holes.
