Super roomy and sturdy, the Big Sky Bed Deluxe is perfect for even the tallest of campers.
The steel flat fold frame provides stability, is gentler on tent floors, and allows for more floor space in your tent. This stretcher also features coil suspension and poly cotton covered foam mattress give this stretcher bed-like comfort.
For a soundless night's sleep under the stars for taller users, you can't go past the Big Sky Stretcher Bed Deluxe from Coleman.

Mattress alternative1 answer
Is there a self inflating mattress you’d recommend for this stretcher?
Natasha - Sydney, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Natasha,
There isnt necessarily a recommended option for these, as pretty much any self-inflating mattress will be compatible - the limitations would just be your budget, mattress thickness, and personal preference. The bed itself is 203L x 76W & I'd probably lean towards looking at mats that fit close to those dimensions to prevent the springs from being exposed - this is mostly the King Single size category. If you need any help narrowing it down further from there, give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 & we'll be more than happy to help!

Rv5 tent suitable???1 answer
Hi, was hoping we could get two of these to join up in our RV 5 tent, so over sleeping on the ground. Would it work? Also would a queen inflatable work on Top?
Bree - Cowaramup (5 years ago)
G'day Bree,
We're pretty confident you could put two of the Big Sky Stretcher Bed Deluxes in the RV5 with a little bit of room to spare, but adding an inflatable on top as well probably won't work, unfortunately. Check out Ben's features video on the RV5, he tries out a stretcher in there at around the 5 minutes mark.

Replacement canvas1 answer
Hi we have four of these stretchers, our family loves them, just wondering, do Coleman sell canvas replacements? Mine seems to have stretched and is really noisy now..thanks!
Jimmy - Dee why(5 years ago)
G'day Jimmy,
I've just double checked and unfortunately, Coleman doesn't do replacement canvas pieces for the Big Sky Stretcher Bed Deluxe.

Fixed or removable covering1 answer
Is the cotton cover removable for washing?
Paula - Point Turton (5 years ago)
G'day Paula,
I've just double checked and the cover on the Big Sky Stretcher Bed is stitched shut, so, unfortunately, you won't be able to remove it. We'd suggest popping a sheet over the top of the mattress.

Joining beds together1 answer
Hi, could you join these beds together and put a queen size self inflating mattress on top? Trying to find a queen size bed without and uncomfortable bar running down the middle.
Jen - Perth WA(5 years ago)
G'day Jen,
You could theoretically join two of the Big Sky Stretchers together and pop a self-inflating mattress on the top. You will still end up with a bar down the centre, but it will likely be less noticeable due to the spring design.

Is the foam mattress attached to the frame or does it just sit on top?1 answer
.
Jill - Figtree(5 years ago)
G'day Jill,
The mattress on the Coleman Big Sky Stretcher Bed Deluxe just sits on top of the stretcher, so you can remove it if you wanted to.
