The shortest of the C CLip T-Nut Spreader Pole should be short enough to suit your 110-125cm requirement. The poles have a diameter of 19 and 22.2mm. The ends can be replaced with these C-Clip Spreader Bar Inserts.

I want to connect a horizontal pole (across the top of my tent) to a vertical pole (center of tarp) to create a solid pitched awning. It looks like these C clips are permanently crimped into the pole. Or are they removable? Could I replace one end only with https://www.snowys.com.au/nylon-tent-pole-inserts ? And if so, which size would I need? Round steel 19mm, 22.2mm, or 25.4mm?

The end C-clip pieces are able to be removed from the steel tube so theoretically you could replace one end with the Nylon Insert. The two ends of the Spreader pole are different sizes, (22mm and 25mm) so you could for either size (22.2mm or 25.4mm) depending on which end you'd like to replace.
