A simple foam mat with a removable cover, the OZtrail Camp Mat 50mm is a no fuss, easy care mattress for use camping or at home.
The upper is a breathable polycotton, while a water-resistant, easy clean base minimises moisture take-up from the ground.
Not only an affordable mat for in the tent, this is also a great swag mat replacement or a perfect way to add a little more comfort to an old camp stretcher.
Will this fit on the Oztrail Easy Fold Low Rise Single Stretcher? It's a little longer than the stretcher, but the width looks good.
G'day David,
Yes, absolutely. You can generally use any camp mat on a stretcher as long as the dimensions of the mat don't exceed well over the stretcher dimensions.
The mat is only 2 cm longer than the stretcher, so is negligible.

G'day Damian,
Yes, the Oztrail Camp Mat will fit on the Oztrail Double Bunks.
My dog ate my sons friends swag mattress! It's the Mitchell expedition swag. Is this mattress the same? Thanks:)
G'day Marie,
The Oztrail camp mat would work as a replacement mat for a Mitchel Expedition Single Swag but it will be a bit too small. The mat in the swag is 210cm x 90cm and these are only 190cm x 60cm. Unfortunately, we don't ship spare foam mats for swags as they're light but bulky so the freight cost is often a lot more than the cost of the mat. The best alternative I can find online for you is one from Clark Rubber but once again the freight fee to get it to you will probably put you off, but if you ever head down to Shepparton you could grab one from their store there. Click here to take a look. I hope this helps.
What is the dimensions when it's been unpackaged and re rolled? (As the photo shown, I'm assuming, is in its original packaging.
G'day Nicole,
I've just wondered downstairs to roll up our display model and measure it for you. By no means am I a muscular fella so matching or beating my effort won't be hard at all! I managed to get it down to 65L x 30W x 30D cm without using any straps to tighten, just rolled with my hands and a knee. Hopefully, this gives you some sort of guidance.
Does it deflate or you just roll it up
G'day Jan,
The Oztrail Camp Mat doesn't deflate as it's just made from open cell foam, so you'll need to roll it tightly and then secure it with the webbing straps.
Thinking of storage, and how much room it takes
G'day Jan,
We've snapped a pic of the stock we have and given it a quick edit, so the image of the Oztrail Camp Mat should be live on the product page right now.
Is the picture of the mattress what it comes like in it's compressed state or has it been taken out allowed to expand and re rolled for the photo to give a true indication what it will be like.
G'day Nicole,
The photo we've uploaded of the Oztrail Camp Mat is of it straight off the shelf, still in its compressed state from the factory. Once it's been used, it'll pack down just a fraction larger.
wanting to use these for children up to approx age 12 for slumber parties. Would this be suitable? Can this be rolled up for transport or do they stay flat?
G'day Kirsten,Â
The Camp Mats are a good option for occasional use such as slumber parties, as they're an entry level mat - and as for storage, you can store them rolled up with the included webbing strap or you can leave them flat depending on your preference.
Guys I'm looking for a good self inflating pad, this caught my eye. Can you advise thermal capabilities as I do feel the cold and looking at camping through the south coast of SA
