When you select the size it will update the in-use dimensions. The small is 26cm long, the long is 42cm long.

Both lid lifters are identical, with the only difference being the handle length. Which one you choose is dependent on you far away you're comfortable with you hand being from the fire. If you tend to cook of large or very hot fires, go with the longer size.
