Will all the Blackwolf turbo 300 plus poles fit in this bag? Including the curved poles for the back room?
G'day Joel,
It would fit the awning and straight poles, but not the curved poles. If it was the curved poles on their own the bag would move with them, but it cant do that if you've got other straight poles in there aswell.
Just adding to me last question. My poles are 275mm steel galvanised supa peg ... bought from snowys not aluminium Thanks
G'day Jez,
Following on from Leece, if you've got the galv poles mate then there's a bit of weight difference to the aluminum - approx. half a Kilo more per pole so with 18 galv poles it's approx. an extra 10kg. Given the weight and bulk, I'd second Leece's recommendation to grab two bags. Cheers :)
Hi, I recently bought 18 supa peg poles (275mm size). Could I fit all 18 into this bag?
G'day Jez,
I'm not 100% sure which poles you have, however, for example, if you have the Supa Peg Big Foot Aluminium 275cm poles, you should be able to easily fit at least 10 poles in the bag, however, 18 might be a little too heavy and bulk, so you might need to grab two bags.
Hi. i was looking at this bag to replace a very tired carry bag for our camper trailer. However, measuring the largest pole. is 186cm. Can you suggest a bag like this but a little longer? Thanks
G'day Peter,
The Steel Pole Bag is the longest carry bag we've got, however, if you needed to store other items then you could maybe look at the RV5 replacement carry bag, they're 200cm long. Aside from that, we don't have anything longer sorry.
Hi, I’m looking for a bag to put the poles of Coleman instant up gold 10 person in to make the weight more manageable. From the dimensions listed it looks like this is about half a meter longer than the poles, is that right? Do you have any other suggestions for a bag to split the 30kg weight of the tent? Thanks.
G'day Emad,
The poles for the Instant Up Gold 10P tent are permanently attached to the tent body itself so you won't actually be able to store the poles separately from the tent. You can store the fly separately but this won't cut your weight down too much.
Hi, what I meant was the awening poles, not the actual frame as I know that is all one piece. Thanks.
G'day Emad,
Not a worry, sorry for the confusion! Yes, the awning poles will fit in Canvas Steel Pole Bag, they fold in half so you'll only need 1m of length.
Thanks, do you have anything that might fit the awening poles better?
G'day Emad,
It's not specifically a
I want to get a bag to carry my oztent poles in seperate from the main bags. How many oztent poles can be fit into one bag? I have 16 poles that I carry when I want to set up my full camp.
G'day Andrew,
Unfortunately, you're only going to be able to fit 8-12 poles in the Oztrail Canvas Steel Pole Bag. Naturally, it all depends on the pole diameter and length.
Will this bag fit the 10x8 Oztrail cabin poles comfortably?
G'day Angela,
While you'll have no issue with the length, my concern would be about the width available. I'm not confident you could fit them all into the width available. You may want to consider two bags or an alternative size.
Hello - we have recently purchased the Chateau 10 from your awesome store and would like to know if all the tent poles for this tent will fit comfortably in this bag
G'day Dean,
We actually don't have a Chateau in stock to check against, but this tent is 120L x 35W x 33H cm when packed, so the max length of the poles should be the same.
will the oztrail side pole kit fit into this bag? Thank you
Hi Janet,
I have just had a go of this for myself in store, and the Oztrail Tourer Side Pole Kit does fit in the Canvas Steel Pole Bag - but there will be almost double the extra length spare so it is a little big. If you want to carry longer items in that bag along with that kit then that may work for you.
If that doesn't seem like a good option, I would recommend the Large Size Action Canvas Chair Bag from Oztrail. This bag is a way better fit as you won't have the excess length to contend with - so that's something you might want to keep in mind.Â
For Oztrail Pole plus kits(Snowys PN 134427), when folded they are 85x7x3cm max dimensions. With simple packing, the bag should fit 20 of those poles, or maybe 25 with some care in offsetting the pole-locks. The weight with 25 poles will be about 13kg.
Please can you confirm the dimension of the bag as the little diagram next to the bag has 160x15x15 but the specs say 170x15x15. Thanks Huw
