Being a waterbag the weight should be fairly spread out and evenly distibuted.  It doesnt come with a weight rating, so its hard to say for sure, but I think it should be ok.

It's not tall though, just need to point that out, it's definitely designed as a short side table.  If you were wanting to fill something like a drink bottle from the water sack, you'd need to squat down.

Yes you could use the Compact Folding Side Table as a small table for the kids to rest their plates on at either height (obviously depending on the size of the kids and the chairs!)

I've just gone and checked our display model of the Australian RV Compact Folding Side Table and the legs are in two-parts so you can use it at both heights.
