We'd recommend popping into your local hardware store and grabbing some heat resistant BBQ tiles. Most places sell them in a few different sizes, and they're designed to be placed under the unit to stop heat transfer to the surface below, like your astroturf etc.

As the name suggests, the Traveller is smaller & more compact - designed for touring or where you need a smaller, easier packed-up version of the Ozpig.  Because it is a smaller & more compact option, there is a smaller range of compatible accessories.

Its not something we can comment on with any certainty without trying out ourselves.  I have seen people using their Ozpig under gazebo's and marquees, so I cant see any reason why it wouldnt work with abit of common sense - I'm thinking the with an offset chimney & potentially using just the single piece legs instead of the 2 pieced legs, so the pig is abit lower to the ground, you could be ok.

No, as far as we are aware the only difference between the series 1 and 2 Ozpig is some minor functional design changes, ans well as the range of compatible accessories.
OzPig do have a Traveller version which is an overall and lighter and smaller option, if that's what you are after.

Sorry for the delayed response, I don't currently have an Ozpig on display to trial this out for you, but I don't think either size will pose any problems. You might find that the Ozpig camp oven will sit over the unit with a little more specificity, however, the Hillbilly camp ovens in both sizes should also fit.

We wouldn't advise leaving your Ozpig outside uncovered for too long. Rust is hard to avoid after regular use but storing your Ozpig out of the elements will minimise rust forming so I would try to keep the Ozpig covered when not in use. Have a read through the FAQ page on Ozpig's website as they offer some good tips for caring for your Ozpig.

As far as we are aware the Ultimate Kit is an option that is only available directly through Ozpig. We sell all of the accessories individually so the best option is to just choose the accessories you're after.

I've just cracked out the tape measure with the display model and the burner itself is approx 37cm high and 30cm wide.

I've just spoken with the team at OzPig and they've informed me that the rotisserie can hold between 2.5kg to 3kg of meat, vegetables or whatever else you would like to roast.
