The Core USB Rechargeable Battery is designed specifically to fit the Petzl headtorch range. Looking at the battery itself, it may fit in other 3 x AAA units, but we couldn't guarantee that it would work.

You won't get the same battery life from the Petzl Core USB Rechargeable Battery as you would from the 3xAAA batteries. Exactly how much shorter I'm not sure sorry as Petzl aren't really clear about this in any of their documentation.
