Their new Crux™ 3L reservoir has a larger access port, you can top up your water supply much quicker and easier. This reservoir is also going to deliver 20% more water per sip, so you can hydrate faster with less effort on your part. You can close off the drinking tube with one hand when you’re mid-action, and the bite valve is self-sealing so you won’t get any leaks or drips mid-run, hike or ride. With the addition of baffles, your reservoir will keep a low profile in your pack and won’t slosh around as much when you’re in action.
The reservoir and tube are made using antimicrobial technology which will assist with inhibiting bacteria growth, so you can keep your water supply fresher and cleaner for all your active pursuits. Camelbak
Or would Blackwolf brand hydration be more compatible?
G'day Tanja,
Either brand of Hydration bladder will fit this bag nicely - so you can take your pick!
Or would a 2lt be a better fit.
G'day Mike,
Blackwolf has indicated on the tags that a 3L water bladder will fit comfortably in this pack, so you could use either size.
Can you please tell me if this bladder will fit into the Deuter Aircontact 40 10 SL pack?
G'day Ali,
Yes the Crux 3L will fit nicely in the Aicontact 40 10 SL.
I was going to just buy the director tube but since the full bladder is on such a great special I now would like the full bladder. But I still like the idea of the director tube rather than the non-director tube. ta
G'day Dan,
The Director Tube in only available to be purchased separately, and isnt an optional upgrade with the Crux Bladder.
hmm. as above. :)
G'day Jane,
It's hard for us to say as we don't sell Osprey Packs, but we'd be fairly confident the Crux 3L Hydration Reservoir would fit your pack. The best option will be to check the in-use dimensions against your pack and decide from there.
I know for sure that it fits in my osprey 55L pack
Hi, will this bladder fit into a blackwolf mountain ash 75 pack? Am tossing up between this bladder or the blackwolf 3L bladder. Thanks!
It will fit, and it is a better quality bladder, but you may find that Black Wolf have attachment points specific to their hydration bladder and these may not line up with the Camelbak Bladder.
In my experience, I've never used these attachment points and simply placed my water bladder loosely into the pack anyway. So unless the attachment points are a deal breaker for you, I'd go with the more reliable Camelbak bladder.
Hi Guys, I’ve got a 75 litre backpack and I’m just wondering how long the hose is for the 3 litre Camelbak? I’m not sure if theses hydration packs are only suited to smaller packs due to the length of the hose or not as in the image it doesn’t look that long. Cheers.
G'day Aaron,
Firstly, I am so sorry that it has taken such a long time for us to get back to your question - I'm not sure what happened there.
Assuming your pack has a standard slot for the hose to come out of, then it shouldn't be a problem fitting this reservoir to a 75L pack.
I've measured the display model Crux and the hose is approx 86cm long, so you can always compare that length to your pack if you're concerned that it won't be a good fit.
I have a camelback Lobo hydration pack and need a replacement bladder. Will this fit?
G'day Jason,
The new Camelbak Crux 3L Hydration Reservoir will fit your Camelbak Lobo with no worries.
