When you’re in the zone, you don’t want to be grappling around looking for your hydration tube mid-run.
The folks over at Camelbak have come up with their Crux Insulated Tube Director which positions your drink cube close to your mouth for hands-free hydration. This tube director features insulation along the length of the tube for keeping your water cool in the heat, and to stop it freezing in the dead of winter.
The tube is made with antimicrobial technology which is going to help inhibit the growth of bacteria on the surface of the tube, which helps to keep your water supply clean and fresh for all your open-air activities.

Camelbak reservoir compatability1 answer
Can this fit the 2.5L reservoir that comes with the classic Camelbak backpack?
Klaudio - Shepparton(4 years ago)
G'day Klaudio,
Depending on when you purchased your Camelbak Classic it will likely have a Crux bladder in it. The Crux Insulated Hose will slot into the quick link connector at the base of the bladder, so just pop out your current hose and double-check the fitting.

Camelbak director vs insulated tube1 answer
Hi Team, what's the difference between this and the insulated tube that is not labeled director. see link below. is there a wire for the director? are there any other differences, eg weight? CamelBak does not advertise the non-director item, is it old stock? Thanks https://www.snowys.com.au/crux-insulated-tube

G'day George,
I've just had a look to the Camelbak Insulated Tube and the Insulated Tube Director and they are a little different despite the appearance! The Tube Director has a flexible wire embedded in the insulation around the tube that allows you to position the hose exactly how you'd like it.
