Hi, What's the difference between water resistant and water proof? Would this bag protect the items inside from the rain? Thanks Matt

G'day Matt,
Water resistant generally means the material itself won't allow water penetration, but that's it. If you have something on the roof racks for example, and you're driving through rain where it will hit the bag with force, or if there's rain beyond a shower, it will generally seep through.
Waterproof means that in addition to the material, all the seams & any stitching are sealed, and the zips or any clasps & fixings are also fully sealed eg. you could throw the bag in a pool and the contents would stay dry.
