What is the sleeping space inside the swag?1 answer
How much room is inside the Swag from each wall?
Shane - Andrews Farm, SA(3 months ago)
G'day Shane,
This swag is pretty roomy on the inside, we don't have one set up to measure exactly but it would be just under 160cm wall to wall. There isn't too much slant on the sides the walls are nearly vertical, the poles help keep a max head height of 100cm in the front section. The ends taper down in the feet area and would be an inside length of just under 230cm.

Is the swag bag waterproof1 answer
Is the Is the bag that the swag goes in waterproof
Peter - Kings Langley, NSW(8 months ago)
G'day Peter,
No, swag bags are generally not waterproof. They will protect your swag from a short burst of rain or a light shower, but they're not suitable for anything more than that. If you have your swag up on your roof racks, make sure to wrap them in a tarp if you are expecting any rain at all. Not much competition for rain hitting the swag at force.

Dune 1600 vs Outbreak 15501 answer
hesitate between Dune 1600 vs Outbreak 1550, whats your suggestion please?
Derek - Vermont South, VIC(10 months ago)
G'day Derek,
Theres not a huge amount of difference between the two especially when it comes to materials and performance. Any size you gain in the Duke 1600 width you lose in the overall space due to the taper. The Outbreak is more square off in internal size. Another consideration is the pole system - the Duke having 3 'hoops' means you have a half sized doorway for entry and exit, compared to the full size doorway on the Outbreak.
The Outbreak comes with a fly cap/awning & the Duke doesnt, but there is an optional accessory for the duke that not only gives you an awning space, by a fully enclosed vestibule aswell.
We cant really say which one to go with as they're both excellent options, but hopefully this bit of extra info can help you decide.

Mattress 1 answer
Having sold my swag thinking it wasn’t comfortable enough for an old fella and changing my setup various times would this swag fit the Zempire Monstermat twin inside?
James - Dromana, VIC(1 year ago)
G'day James,
We don't have a Monstamat Twin on display, but I've chosen another mattress that has near identical measurements to try out in-store. The duke itself is 1.6m wide, so you'll have space to put in a double self-inflating mat & avoid the off-cut corners at the head of the swag. It's almost impossible to get the mattress in once inflated, so set lay it out inside the swag before inflating. From what I can tell, you should be able to roll the swag up with the mattress inside - it will obviously get easier with time as the swag canvas softens.

Rob - Crystal Creek, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Rob,
It doesn't, but there is a partial fly and annex called the Duke Swag Annex available separately.
