Staff tip:It's best practice to season your swag a few times, even if it comes seam sealed, pre−seasoned, or waterproofed. For more info, check out our blog post below.
Hi team, sorry another question about will it fit, I have a darche kozi 900 stretcher I know it will fit length wise but will it fit width ways as both say 900mm, ps do they still make the kozi stretcher as I see you don't sell them any more it's the easiest stretcher to put up no clicking end poles in.
Graham - Woodcroft, SA (4 months ago)
G'day Graham,
Yep, absolutely you can - essentially a 900 swag can go on any single stretcher, it just depends on how much overhang you're comfortable with. Bearing in mind that some overhang is ideal for rainy weather, it helps the rain run off to the ground instead of getting caught between the stretcher and swag bottom. There shouldn't be any issues using this swag with the Kozi stretcher. They do still make them, we just don't stock them anymore. Hope that helps!

Can I use with Easy Fold Single Jumbo Stretcher1 answer
Hi, I saw from the reviews that you recommend 100cm wide size stretchers for use with the swag. Looking at the pics, the 90cm wide swag seems to be snug on the stretcher with the swag end poles hanging over - is it on a 90cm wide stretcher? I have an Oztrail Easy Fold Single Jumbo Stretcher which is 90cm wide, and easy for me to set up since I struggle getting the end bars in place on the other brands. Will I be able to use this swag on my Jumbo stretcher? Thanks.
Sandra - The Gap, QLD(6 months ago)
G'day Sandra,
The Stretcher in the photos would likely be the Darche XL 100 Stretcher which is 100cm wide. The Dusk to Dawn 900 would fit on the Oztrail Easy Fold Single Jumbo Stretcher but would have an overhang and may not be enough support for the swag. The Oztent RS−1S King Single Stretcher Series II is also another option that would better suit the 900-wide swags.

Self inflating mattress options1 answer
Which of the 10cm self inflating mattress’ would fit best inside the 900 swag?
Duncan - Dulwich Hill, NSW(9 months ago)
G'day Duncan,
Most of the King Single self inflating mats are going to be 76/77cm wide, so they're your best bet. Check out the Exped, Zempire, or Black Wolf mats as the most popular options.

Oztent King Goanna Stretcher1 answer
Hi. I have a King Goanna Stretcher. Do you think this swag would fit nicely on my stretcher?
Harry - Ridgehaven, SA(10 months ago)
G'day Harry,
Yep, the King Goanna is a common choice for use with 900 wide stretchers. You shouldnt have any issues with that combo.

Compatability w Oztent Gecko stretcher1 answer
After doing the measurements, there looks to be quite a bit of overhang on the length of the stretcher and some on the width. Does that matter? Will this combo work? Thanks guys :-)
Charlie - Brisbane, QLD(1 year ago)
G'day Charlie,
You are correct that there will be some overhang with the Gecko stretcher. This combo will work, but we generally recommend the Oztent RS-1S King Single, the Darche XL100, or the 23Zero Husky 100 stretchers for use with 900 swags. You get full support which can often help with the overall structure and tensioning of the swag.

COMPOSITE POLES1 answer
Hi, what is the advatage of the composite poles? Cheers
Mr D - North Sydney, NSW (1 year ago)
G'day Mr D,
Composite poles have better flexibility when compared to aluminum alternatives, as they have superior tensile strength across the span. Ultimately these types of poles are very strong but still lightweight and, because of their flexibility, they're less prone to breakages.

Mattress 1 answer
Is the mattress removable?
Brett - Noorat, VIC (1 year ago)
G'day Brett,
Yep, absolutely. It's essentially a foam mattress like most other swags, and can readily be replaced by alternative thicker/self-inflating options. Give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 if you need help choosing a different mattress option.
