What liner what would fit the largest mat as a bed sheet in the s2s range?

G'day James,

There arent any liners that will fit the mat perfectly, as they're all quite wide and you'll have a fair bit of room left over.
The closest fit is the Expander Liner − Long Rectangular, its about 20cm wider than the mat, but the alternatives are 35cm wider.

G'day Mark,

It depends if pack size and weight are a consideration for you. A large portion of hikers choose a mat that is close to or shorter than them to save on these factors, its not uncommon to get a half sized mat for example.
Realistically, your feet are going to be bundled up in a sleeping bag, so it may not be as noticeable if your feet are on the edge or slightly off your mat. The other consideration is if you sleep on your side or curled up in any way, your sleeping length is likely to be shorter than your standing height.

If it doesn't matter how heavy or large the packed mat is, there's no harm going for the long.

Pillow attachment 1 answer

Hey there, Are any replacement sticker available for the pillow attachment system. Works great initially but the stickers soon become detached from the mat and remain stuck to the pillow with the Velcro so now my STS pillow slides off all the time.

Is there a standard mat / cover slip or ground sheet recommended for use under this mat?

G'day Ryan,

There's not sorry, as it's not something specifically required.
If you are tarp hiking and don't have an enclosed tent, then a generic tent footprint or ground sheet does the trick.
There is a fitted sheet for these mats that you could use on the bottom side, or you could use a liner and slide the mat into it like a pillow case.

Yes, absolutely. The mattress itself doesn't generate any warmth, it just acts as an insulative barrier between you and the ground.
Its purpose is to prevent any temperature transfer from the ground, and vice versa. So in summer, it can be beneficial for insulating you from warm ground. As long as your sleeping bag, etc is appropriate for the temps you'll be in, you'll be fine

Hi there, my 16 yr old daughter needs a another mat for her silver Duke of Ed camp as her other one (Seat to Summit Comfort Light Insulated mat) was too noisy during the last camp and apparently she kepts others awake because of her rustling!. How 'noisy' is this one in relation to the comfort light please?

G'day Ana,

We've had this question before and had feedback from customers aswell. The new Ether Light range of mats are found to be quieter than the other Sea to Summit air filled mats. They have a slightly different design with larger baffles that not only means they are quieter, they are also lighter for their equivalent thickness.
We've recently recieved feedback from another customer who upgraded from the same Comfort Light Mat to an Etherlight, as said the difference was night and day, and the Etherlight was alot quieter.
