Replacement regulator 2 answers
Are replacement regulator regularly available for this stove or are other universal regulator available?
Nick - Brisbane, QLD(7 months ago)
G'day Nick,
There isn't a universal regulator option for the Genesis systems. Whilst we don't sell replacement regulators, but they are available from Jetboil if you lose or misplace them.

G'day Nick,
Just to clarify with this, Jetboil in Australia actually operate under the banner of Sea to Summit (along with a bunch of other high-end brands), or you can go to Jetboil USA. Either way, you're dealing with Jetboil - sometimes we may not be able to get certain parts in Australia, in which case the option to get it for you may be there, otherwise you'd get intouch with the US.
Hope that helps, sorry!

Standard 4kg LPG bottle1 answer
Can the stove be attached to a standard 4kg cylinder?
Brian - St Clair, SA (8 months ago)
G'day Brian,
We've heard back from Jetboil in the US, here's their response:
The adapter hose that is purchased MUST be connected to the regulator. You cannot bypass the regulator. Here is what we tell our customers in the US:
You must connect the stock regulator to the Fuel input Port on the stove as normal. The top-end of the adapter hose will then get secured to the regulator. NOTE: the hose must not have an in-line regulator. The lower end of the hose should be connected directly to the bulk tank threads...again...NO additional regulator.
I highly recommend taking the original Propane Regulator arm that comes with the stove to a reputable propane supply store (they're specialists!) and tell them you need a thread adapter hose for connecting the regulator to a standard 20 lb. Tank valve. They should be able to help in selecting the hose and they might even offer such a hose in different lengths.
When all connections are made and leak-testing has been performed on all connections to confirm there is no fuel leakage, slowly open the tank valve to charge the hose/system. This should only take a moment and then you may proceed to open the tank valve fully. From there, refer to the user manual for normal operation of the stove.
As with all propane connections of this type, the system should be disconnected after use to relieve back pressure on the internal regulator components.
Does the Australian version have the Jetlink feature that allows you to connect to other stoves?
David - Essendon, VIC (9 months ago)
G'day David,
As far as I'm aware Jetlink isn't a feature, more so a specific hose that allows you to connect multiple Genesis stoves together using the original connection that exists on the stove itself.
The Jetlink hose isn't available in Australia, as I don't believe daisy chaining multiple gas stoves is considered a safe option by the Australian Gas Association. If you wanted to get a Jetlink hose from an international retailer it should still work without issues.
Alternatively, just get a double adaptor outlet for your gas bottle that allows you to connect two stoves to the same supply.
