What size is the battery compartment and are you protected from the battery impact in case of a fall?

G'day Brett,
The bag itself has two possible options. The intended battery sleeve is around 17cm wide, however, there is an additional laptop-style sleeve in the same compartment which could be used for larger batteries. This pack is compatible with Camelbaks Impact Protector™ which is CE 1621-2 Level 2 Protected and will cover you in the instance of a crash. We don't actually stock these, however, they are readily available.
