These heavy-duty marquee trace springs were designed by Supa Peg in 1998 specifically to cater for the need to combine a trace spring with large sand or pressed steel pegs.
The large eye is big enough to accommodate large 490mm sand pegs and iron angle stakes and is made from heavy-duty heat-treated steel making it best suited for large shelters.
Using a trace spring ensures tension is maintained on your shelter and allows movement during high winds to mitigate the instance of damage occurring to the shelter.

How to attach1 answer
Probably a stupid question, but how do you attach these properly to an existing guy rope?
Sarah - Perth, WA(5 months ago)
G'day Sarah,
You'll need to untie the knot on your existing guy rope near the plastic tensioner/slider and loop that around one end of the trace spring, then re-tie that rope end to the plastic slider. That should then be connected and you can peg your trace spring in.

Will these fit onto the "Hex Pegs Hook Top Drillable Tent Peg"?1 answer
Can these be used with the "Hex Pegs Hook Top Drillable Tent Peg"? Will the loop fit around the Hook on top of the Hook Top Hex Peg?
Dianna - North Sydney(4 years ago)
G'day Dianna,
The loop will fit, yes. The tracer spring won't be completely upright though, so as long as your guy ropes are pegged out a reasonable distance from your gazebo, and the pegs are put in at an outward angle, you'll be fine.
