For the third part of your Heysen expedition, you’ll need an official Heysen Trail Sheet Map 3 that covers Tanunda to Burra.
This map is at a scale of 1:50 000 and is made from double sided water-resistant paper for extra sturdiness. The third section of the Heysen Trail covers the northern half of the Barossa Valley in the Central Mt Lofty Ranges, covering 174km of trail.
It also details the loop trails in national parks, where you can get supplies and find facilities, important contact information if you need it, where the campsites and accommodation are and some tips for staying safe on the walk. Keep going on your hiking adventure with Heysen Trail Map Sheet 3.
