You'll need to drill out the rivets on your current latches and then install these replacements using a rivet gun.

I had a bit of a tough time measuring the loop on the Evakool Icebox Latch Set because my tape measure is a rigid one. If you just measure from top to bottom of the loop part (not all the way around), it measured about 7cm long. As for whether or not it will fit on the FM-55, I gave Evakool a buzz and they confirmed that they fit perfectly.

Good pick up. I've just double check the packet on the Evakool Icebox Latch Set and can confirm that they come with both the latch and the catch as well.

I've just measured our 47L Evakool Icebox on our flop floor, it's got 8cm latches on it. So you'd be best set if you grabbed a pair of the 8cm Evakool Icebox Latches.

It depends on what icebox you have and the what length you need. Without tension, there is a 1-2cm difference, but once pulled, the difference can be much greater.
