Keep the sun off your face in the afternoons, and have overhead illumination for your evenings relaxing at the campsite with the versatile Coleman Lighted Instant Up Gazebo 3x3.
When it gets dark outside, just switch on the integrated strip lighting which is powered by an included battery pack and provides 450 lumens of light for your gazebo. The canopy is made from a 150D polyester that has a UV50+ rating to provide you with protection from the harsh rays of the sun as well as degradation over time. It’s got a sturdy integrated steel frame which has been wind tested to 65kmph for your peace of mind, and a spring-loaded hub which makes setting it up really easy while also reducing the pack size for more compact transport.
You can also connect it to the separately available Instant Up 6P Shade Awning to extend your undercover shelter options at the campsite. For portable shade, lighting and shelter on your getaways, make sure you pack the Lighted Instant Up Gazebo 3x3 from Coleman.
can I connect another battery source, other than the standard. Like a usb power bank?
G'day Si,
Yep! The cable for the lighting on this gazebo has a USB end, so you can power it with a power bank no worries!
If you check out the 4th product image that should give you a closer look at the power pack & cable.
Hope that helps.
Can this gazebo connect to the "Instant Up 6P Lighted Northstar Darkroom" tent
G'day,
There's no velcro or attachment function for this tent with any gazebo. You could come up with a DIY solution - use some zip ties or carabiners to put through the holes on the awning where the poles would usually go, and then attach that to the gazebo frame, but theres no direct compatibility.
Does Coleman make a compatible replacement canopy available? The frame is still A1 but canopy has ripped.
G'day David,
I'm not sure if Coleman have spare flys available, but you could get intouch with them to see if there is anything around their warehouse.
Alternatively, repair tape is a great option to fix any flys or canopies. The Stormsure TUFF Tape & the Tear Aid Tape are clear options, or there is K-Tape in different colours that will also work.
How does this perform in the rain?
G'day Sue,
The Coleman Gazebos do not come with a waterhead rating and have no guaranteed waterproofing.
They are intended to be used as a sun/shade shelter - hope that helps!
Can we connect this Gazebo to "Instant Up 6P Lighted Northstar Dark Room" tent
G'day Vish,
No, unfortunately not, there is no velcro strip on the Instant Up Lighted Gazebo to attach the 6P Lighted Northstar Dark Room tent too.
Hi, would the Oztrail Inner tent kit fit the Coleman instant up lighted gazebo? If so I will buy both! Thank you for your help 😊
G'day Hess,
As far as we're aware, you may be able to attach the Oztrail Tent Inner Kit, however we've not had both items available to physically check this. If you hook it onto metal loops on each corner, and then secure it on the legs and at the feet. I can't say for sure if that is going to work with other 3 x 3 gazebos, as yours may have a different attachment system for accessories.
Is the height adjustable on this gazebo? Also, does it come with guy ropes? Can you recommend which sized pegs this needs?
G'day Michelle,
Yes, the height on these gazebos is adjustable, you can find this info in the product dimensions.
The Gazebo itself comes with both guy ropes and pegs, which should be all you need to get it set up.
What is the primary difference between this Gazebo and the Coleman Deluxe Gazebo 3 x 3m. I am most interested in the one with the easiest set up.
G'day Kristy,
The Instant Up Lighted Gazebo 3x3 is quick and easy to set up, however, the structure will be less durable and robust. It also packs away smaller than the Deluxe Gazebo. The Deluxe Gazebo is stronger as it has a more rigid frame structure, and will take slightly longer to set up.
In the Description it states “ You can also connect it to the separately available Instant Up 6P Shade Awning to extend your undercover shelter options at the campsite” Is this true, if so how does it connect please?
G'day David,
The Instant Up Lighted Gazebo 3x3 and Gold Series Evo Sade Awning attached via a velcro strip that runs along the complete gazebo edge.
Is the deluxe 3x3 sun wall compatible with this gazebo?
G'day Gary,
Unfortunately not, the Instant Up Lighted Gazebo 3x3 doesn't have a corresponding velcro strip to be able to use the 3x3 sunwalls. Based on feedback from another user, the Oztrail 3m Gazebo Walls will fit the attachments in the corners of the frame.
Any chance you have a demo video on how this gazebo goes up? Curious about the dial in the middle.
G'day Katie,
This is a relatively new product, so we do have it on our video list, but we've not had a chance to get one up and video just yet. The middle of the hub is spring-loaded to help get the frame up, but we've not really played around with it too much yet. I'd recommend checking out the review from Kristy in TAS, as they've provided some great pros and cons as well as some pictures of the gazebo in action.
Hi Katie, The dial on the battery pack is used to dim the lights, if that’s what you’re referring to. For anyone who has a northstar lighted tent, the lights work a bit differently - in this gazebo if you use a usb powerbank you can’t dim the light (it is maximum brightness)
Hi team Is there any more information available on this one as yet? Just wondering if there are mesh or side panels which might be compatible? Thanks!
G'day Kristy,
Unfortunately at this stage all of the information we have for these is listed on the product page. We're still waiting for verification from Coleman regarding optional accessories and compatability.
Does this gazebo have velcro to attached to the awing of the Coleman Instant Up 6P Lighted Northstar Darkroom Tent?
G'day Colm,
At this point in time, all of the information we have about this new product is listed on the website. Coleman has indicated that you can attach an Instant Up Shade Awning which is compatible with non-Darkroom model tents. At this stage, we're not too sure sorry Colm, we'll have to suss this out when the stock arrives into Australia.
The gazebo does not have any velcro to attach awning, e.g. from a northstar tent (which I also have). I’m thinking of sewing velcro on, or I might just tie the awning up on the gazebo frame.
