hanging dimensions1 answer
Hi, can you confirm the hammock is 220L total length, from hook to hook?, and what would be he minimum distance between hanging points? I have a portable stand and the distance between the hooks is only 220cm. Thanks

G'day Julie,
Yes, that's correct. The length does not include the Nylon Chord hanging kit. It will need to be suspended at a distance of 220cm or shorter, as per the length of the hammock. The further apart the suspension hooks, the tighter the hammock will be.

Question about what direction you lie when sleeping.1 answer
Hi there, I just wondered if this is hammock is designed for asymmetrical lay when sleeping, or straight lay? Cheers.
Michelle - Lennox Head, NSW(3 years ago)
G'day Michelle,
Hammocks are generally designed to be used straight, meaning head to toe with the anchor ropes. There's no reason why you couldn't lie perpendicular, you'll just need to triple check the hammock fabric width to make sure you'll actually fit. In the case of the Coleman Lightweight Hammock, its 150cm wide, so most adults probably wouldn't comfortably fit sleeping this way.

Clips1 answer
Would you be able to recommend what I would need to purchase to be able to hang this hammock?
Kate - Fremantle(5 years ago)
G'day Kate,
There are a number of ways you could hang the Coleman Lightweight Hammock depending on where you wanted to set it up. You could purchase some D-shackles from a hardware store if you're setting it up at home, or if you're taking it camping or hiking you could purchase some Sea to Summit Hammock Tree Protectors or Suspension Straps.

Hanging Up2 answers
Hello - does this come with everything I need to hang this or do I need to also purchase some attachments?
Kate - Fremantle(5 years ago)
G'day Kate,
The Coleman Lightweight Hammock just has the two hooks on the end, any rope or clips that you'd need to hang it up, you'd need to grab separately.
