Each function can be used together or independently for maximum convenience and battery preservation. Adjust the light to the way you like it with three levels of brightness. In conjunction with a UV LED mode that lasts up to 40 hours, each lantern comes with 2 replaceable attractant tablets that release a scent that attracts mozzies to the lantern where they’re then finished off by the zapper function. Excellent question but not something we can answer sorry! This information hasnt been provided by Oztrail as there are too many variables that effect it such as wind or breeze, humidity, etc I'd like to take a stab at maybe a 2-3 m2 kind of area, such as a standard gazebo or tent annex space, but thats just a guess and not guaranteed.
