I've checked in with Zempire on this info. They said these are currently being independently tested & should have an official rating by the end of this year, but at this stage it's estimated they're IPX-4. Essentially in real life this covers general outdoor use such as morning dew or light rain/splashing, but will need to be brought down proper rain, and definitely not submerged. Hope that helps.

I wondered if anyone knows how long the battery is supposed to last, at full charge, before being turned on. Mine last probably a few days and it’s dead and needs a full re-charge. Seems a very shirt amount of time. Wondering if I have a faulty unit?

The Hangdome measures 23cm from the base of the string to the top of the hook. From what I can tell this isn't completely waterproof or weatherproof.
