This adapter purely allows you to plug a 15A plugged appliance into a house mains power supply. If your BBQ has a 15A plug (which is the kind with the longer fatter earthing pin) you'll have no dramas.

The Ampfibian Mini 15A-10A Power Adapter has a Type C RCD, however you can easily take this adapter into an electrical wholesaler and purchase a Type A RCD to swap into it. They're a standard size, and should just be a simple exchange. Hope that helps!

Can this adaptor be used to connect the 15 amp caravan lead to a normal household powerpoint? The reason for my question is that in your description it states for INDOOR use.

To add some context, the IP33 rating on the Ampfibian Mini 15A-10A Power Adapter means that it's protected from tools and wires greater than 2.5mm and is protected from water spray less than 60 degrees from vertical. If the conversion box part of the adapter was kept out of the rain, inside where the wall plug is, then I would suggest that you'd be perfectly fine as long as it's not bucketing down with rain.
