I think we show this in our product review video, but it may not be obvious!
The capacity is 1L but it's recommended not to boil more than 0.7L at a time to account for the water bubbling over.

Unfortunately not through Jetboil Australia.
There was something called the Jetboil Companion Cup for a while, but they are now discontinued.
Some retailers do still have stock, but you'd have to hit Google to try and track one down.
The Companion Cup - Short is the one compatible with the SUmo/MiniMo burner.

Could you heat up baked beans or something similar and noodles in the minimo? I'm trying to decide between the Jetboil Flash and the Minimo to heat things rather than cook them. Which would you recommend?

If you want to do anything other than boil water, the MiniMo is the best bet. It has a wider base for better heat distribution and allows for easy stiring. The Flash is narrower and taller, so is less favourable for food preparation.
The MiniMo also simmers, so combined with that and that ability to stir your food, you shouldnt have things sticking to the bottom.

The MiniMo packs a fair amount of concentrated heat, so while we think it should be ok, there may be some risk of melting the soup pouch if they're resting against the pot. It's hard to say sorry.

Which Jetboil fuel canister size do I purchase if I want to store it with my Jetboil Minimo Pot, and along with the items it comes with when trekking?

You'll need the 100g size if you're wanting to fit the burner and the canister in the cup. You can fit a 230g canister in the cup if you leave the burner on the base of the unit, however the lower cap won't fit over the burner, so we'd recommend sticking to the 100g size.

For versatility, am I best to get Jetboil Flash (Quick water boil) cooking pot (for when I’m hiking in longer trips and want a break from freeze-died). Or can Mini-mo meet both needs? Can you regulate heat only with the mini-mo with the cooking pot?

It really comes down to personal preference, however, the more popular combination seems to be a flash for solo trips, with the addition of the cooking pot for group cooking. The MiniMo will essentially do both jobs, however, it does have a higher heat output, which will likely be trickier for cooking food from scratch options.

Cooking vs just boiling water?1 answer

Hi This version has simmer capability as a selling point/differentiation from some of the other models, yet Snowys still recommend only using it to boil water? If so why wouldn't I go with a cheaper model that doesn't have simmer control, or is this some more Snowys 'ass' covering? Not trying to be being smart here but it seems simmer capability means more versatile cooking options. Yes, I realise that cooking in the pot may shorten its life , as opposed to just boiling water in it. Thanks.

I've checked with some of our staff who use the jetboil regularly and from their experience, the jet boil is great for boiling water and other foods which contain a fair amount of liquid. The intensity of heat the flame produces(even with the simmer control) will tend to cook 'drier' foods such as eggs or bacon too quickly and burn them and destroy the pot. The pot support with a frypan or saucepan will enable you to cook 'drier' foods at a slower pace and save the pot for liquids.

We generally wouldn't recommend cooking food directly in the Jetboil MiniMo. The high heat is great for quickly boiling water to pour into freeze-dried meals, but cooking rice in this will inevitably lead to caked on rice that's very hard to get off. Luckily Back Country make Instant Rice that just needs boiling water added to the sachet.

The cup capacity of the JetBoil MiniMo Stove & Pot Support is 1L. The Boil time of 2.15mins refers to 500ml say for when you're making a couple of cups of tea. The boil time for 1L is closer to 4.5 minutes.

The JetBoil MiniMo is currently supplied with the pot support, but the Grande Coffee Press is available to purchase separately. The Hanging Kit is not currently available for purchase in Australia, so you might need to order one in from an overseas website.

I've had a quick look into this for you. The only changes are the colour is now 'carbon' and doesn't have the silhouettes of trees on it anymore, and the pot support is now included in the package. But the stove itself is unchanged mate.
