Flint1 answer
What part of shovel would you use with the flint to start a fire
Ron - Albury, NSW(1 year ago)
G'day Ron,
I have a flint that's come with a knife, so based on that you could use the steel edge of the shovel or the non serrated edge of the small knife attachment.

heat resistant?1 answer
Hi , are all the parts of this tool heat resistant? it seems to have some orings and not sure of the material of these. just wanting to know if it will stand up to some light fire management
theo - brisbane(3 years ago)
G'day Theo,
As far as we can tell the Hard Korr Multi-Tool Shovel should be able to handle fire. They come with a built-in fire starter, and we've seen reports of people using them to move coals around in a campfire with no worries.
