Pop-up sunshelter1 answer
Does this still come in the medium size? Or just the family size.
Toni - NZ(2 weeks ago)
G'day Toni
Good memory there! We have not had the medium for a few years and does not look like they are made any more.

I bought one of these 9 years ago - these are an absolutely brilliant invention BUT has some snivelling little bean counter worked out that he can save 20 cents on production cost with a lighter guage spring steel? They were a bit on the flimsy side ten years ago, have they gotten worse or better in that department?1 answer
I'm asking about the Pop-up Sun Shelter
Stephen - Gold Coast(4 years ago)
G'day Stephen,
From what we can tell the currently Pop-Up Sunshelters are essentially the same as they have been for a number of years. It's hard to give an exact answer without looking at the steel diameter in a 10-year-old one versus the new one, however what we can say is that they have excellent reviews, and they've been a strong seller at Snowys for the better part of the last decade.

G'day Marilyn,
That's no good! We like to keep our prices as sharp as possible, so if you could either give us a call on 1300 914 007 or send us an email at service@snowys.com.au with all the pricing details ready to go, then we can look into matching it for you.

Stand against wind and floor?1 answer
Does this tent stand up well against wind? And does the floor have to be attached after assembly (or can it be left on when packing up)?
Val - NSW(6 years ago)
G'day Val,
Nothing in the world is totally windproof, unfortunately. Whilst the Smart Shade Pop-Up Beach Sunshelter - Family does hold its own against some moderate winds, I'd certainly suggest that you take it down if the wind starts picking up. As for the detachable floor, whilst you can fold it up with the floor still attached, it does make it a little tricker and it might get in the way. I'd probably just recommend that it might be easier removing it and reattaching it next time you set it up.

G'day Mike,
Thanks for taking an interest in Snowys - we're always happy to hear from folks across the pond, but unfortunately we are only shipping within Australia at this time.

Does the carry bag have straps or handle? 1 answer
just wondering whether it is easy to take with me
Mario - Newtown(7 years ago)
G'day Mario,Â
I've just had a look for you, and I've found that the Smart Shade Pop Up Beach Sunshelter comes with a bag that has two carry straps - so you should be able to just sling this shade over your shoulder.Â

Hi does the ground sheet come with this or do you have to purchase it?1 answer
..
Gary - Adelaide(7 years ago)
G'day Gary,
The groundsheet comes with the shelter, but is removable so you can choose whether or not to have it on.Â

Air flow1 answer
Does this have a mesh window panel at all that can be closed when not needed to let air flow through thanks
Hayden - Woonona(7 years ago)
G’day Hayden,
I’ve just checked this for you in-store, and the Smart Shade Pop-Up Beach Sunshelter does not have a mesh window on the back panel.Â
If you have a look at the product image, you can see a seam down the middle of the shelter – this is a zip that allows you to open the back panel up to ventilate the shelter, so you will be able to get a good amount of air flow when you're using it.Â
