Would this take one load of washing?1 answer
Just wondering if used as an indoor washing line if it would hold on normal size load of washing?
Andrea - Ormeau Hills(5 years ago)
G'day Andrea,
The Companion Portable Clothes Line can carry a surprising amount of washing considering its compact size. A few colleagues use this clothesline indoors during winter and have said it can carry a full load of washing (including bed sheets) and hold approximately 1.7kg per aluminium rail.

The Companion Portable Clothes Line comes with 3 pegs that screw into the ground to hold each of the legs in place.

does it take sheets and what size3 answers
what size sheets does it take or is it too small for sheets
sue - sydney(6 years ago)
G'day Sue,
The Companion Portable Clothes Line is probably a little too small for hanging a load of sheets. At its widest point, it is only 135cm across so you might be able to fit some single sheets, pillow covers but that would be about it I'd say.
Ben - Snowys(6 years ago)
I hang my QS sheets on this line, just fold them in half and peg around the line, it usually goes around half the line and it dries perfectly every time

Thanks for the tips Kate, it's always great to get info from someone who has tried it out for themselves!

Is there instructions for Companion Clothes line 4 arms1 answer
Having trouble working out how to put this together. Sorry, thanks
Iris - PORTARLINGTON, VIC(7 years ago)
G’day Iris, I’ve just had a look inside the box of the Companion Portable Clothes Line and online and it doesn’t have a manual or instructions. However I can do my best to describe how to put it up. To set it up you attach the top piece to the base, loosen the green screws, extend the arms and then tighten them in place. If you’re having any more difficulties feel free to give us a buzz on 1300 914 007 and someone from our team will be happy to talk you through it.

What is the maximum weight of wet washing that can be hung?1 answer
Janet - MITCHAM, SA(8 years ago)
Hi Janet,
There is no specified weight rating for this one. Though it is capable of holding all the clothes washing you can fit on it. So if you have filled up all the cordage space and you have evenly distributed the weight, you should be fine.
I personally have the Companion Quick Fold Clothes Stand for hanging clothes indoors during wintertime and it can take up to 1.7kg per aluminium rail.
I hope this has helped!
