Ideal for tight spaces in caravans and motorhomes, the Thetford Porta Potti 335 has a manual piston pump and features a holding tank level indicator. The 10-litre holding tank capacity, coupled with a 10-litre flush water tank, creates a compact design, whilst still enabling up to 26 flushes before the wastewater tank needs emptying.
The range features a refreshed design, and updated functionality including an improved blade handle design, lid clip, and a convenient carry handle for the waste holding tank.

Hi, just wondering if this is the smallest Thetford available? I have very limited space in my van and wanted to get the smallest possible Thetford porta potti. Thanks.

G'day Mick,
Yes, the 335 is the smallest Thetford we have currently available.

Weight when full1 answer
Given that the 335 is 3.2 kg empty, when filled with 20 litres of water (10 holding, 10 flushing), can you give me that weight? If stored in one of your bags, I'd like to know portability from the back of a campervan to the front for overnight usage. Oh - the maximum height for storage is 33 cm.
Toni - Flemington, VIC (10 months ago)
G'day Toni,
Its not something we've physically weighed but given 1 litre is approx to 1kg, 20L would be around 20kg of extra weight. Given that the holding tank is potentially going to have 'solids' not just water, you'd probably be safe to estimate 23kg as your minimum if the toilet is a max capacity.

Thetford 335 and 365 compatibility 1 answer
Can the larger capacity waste tank of a 365 be used with a 335? I have a 335, but want to know if I can increase waste tank capacity.
Bill - Mosman Park, WA(2 years ago)
G'day Bill,
No they're not unfortunately, they have slightly different latching systems. We know the 165 and 365 are compatible, but not the 335.

Seat size1 answer
Hi, I would like to know whether the seat on the Thetford 335 is the same size or smaller than then one on the Thetford 345? Thanks
Michael - North Rocks(3 years ago)
Hi Michael,
The Porta Potti 335 has a slightly smaller seat than the Porta Potti 345 by a few centimetres.

Odour during tansport1 answer
Okay, so I have 4WD wagon & the only place I can keep this while travelling is in the back of the car. No room on the roof rack, as we have a roof top tent & we don't tow a trailer. So the question is.......do they smell when they are stored & in transit between camp sites??
Paul - Tewantin(4 years ago)
G'day Paul,
As long as your seals are in working order, and you're using them correctly with the toilet chemicals you shouldn't have any troubles.
