Can you please explain how this attaches to my Exped Mega Mat? I am interested because my current S2S Foamcore pillow is just not cutting it! Is this an upgrade?

G'day Simon,
How it attaches to your mat is completely up to you. There are two webbed fabric loops on either side of the pillow that allow you to attach a tether of some kind to loop around your mat. You could use elastic, paracord, webbing, etc. There's no specific EXPED anchor system or anything like that - just the ability to rig something up if you wanted to.
In terms of wether or not its an upgrade to the S2S Foamcore, its hard to say - comfort is so subjective. This has a layer of soft foam with an air bladder inside so you do have the option to tailor how firm you want your pillow to be, which is an advantage.
