What's the coverage?1 answer
What's the coverage?
Belle - South Springfield, TAS(2 years ago)
G'day Belle,
Theres no coverage of application rate provided by Atsko at all, but it is a super light application. You're not supposed to soak the fabric or put a thick coating on it. Some customers have done a full gazebo fly with one can, so you'd be able to get a hiking tent or smaller tent done, or a few jackets, etc.

Spray on hiking bag?1 answer
Would this be suitable to boost the water resistance of a pack like the Osprey Atmos AG? I realise the mesh on the Atmos is designed to wick away sweat and the waterproofing may stop this but would imagine this would be ok on the other areas?
Jack - Melbourne (3 years ago)
G'day Jack,
Yes, you could use this spray on your hiking pack. We don't sell Osprey, so it's hard to know for sure if it would have any impact on the mesh you're talking about, but the spray is designed for nylon and other synthetic outdoor fabrics so as far as we know this should do the trick.

Suitable for tent fly? 1 answer
Hello Will this be suitable for my Coleman Icelander 4p tent fly or is nikwax better to use? Thanks
Ali - Perth(4 years ago)
G'day Ali,
The Atsko Silicone Water Guard spray will definately be suitable! The Nikwax Tent & Gear Solar Proof will also do the trick, with added UV protection to help prolong the life of your fly. In terms of rejuvenating the water rating, either will do the trick!
