Hey guys I've got the Spark SP3 and was thinking of getting either SP0 or SP1 to increase warmth under the SP3 during shoulder seasons in SW Tasmania. Would SP1 fit and preferred over SP0 or SP0 be sufficient? Not intend to use in winter.

G'day Dan,
The SP0 is designed as a liner, so you wouldn't have any issues using that in another spark bag. I would personally not recommend the SP1, it's abit bigger and ultimately a sleeping bag in and of itself. It's not going to fit inside another bag well, and you'll likely end up compressing the loft in either one or both of your sleeping bags, which will create cold spots and affect performance. If you are wanting something abit warmer than the SP0, consider looking at the Ember EB1 Quilt. These have been designed to use on their own, as well as an additional layer to increase the warmer of existing sleeping bags. It's marginally heavier and bigger packed than the SP1, but will give your sleep system a lot of extra flexibility.

Is it a 3 season sleeping bag?1 answer
Is it a summer sleeping bag as well?

G'day Kevin,
I'm not sure what you mean by a 3 season bag sorry - sleeping bags usually just come with a EN tested comfort rating, in this case 9ºc. I would say that this comfort rating covers the warmer months, and wouldnt be a bag recommended in cooler seasons.
