would this sit on top of a Furno gas burner or would the handle unbalance it and make it tip over?

G'day Mo,
No, it's not a great match. The Furno is an entry-level hiking stove designed to be used with lightweight hiking cookware. There are a couple of different lightweight hiking pan options that you could consider, they can be found here.

Is it possible to remove the handle from this fry pan?1 answer
Hi, is it possible to remove the handle from this fry pan?
Graham - Redcliffs(5 years ago)
G'day Graham,
I've just tried out the Campfire Square Fry Pan 24cm and the handle isn't removable unless your grip strength is Thor-like. The metal is fairly heavy gauge so there isn't enough flex to get it out easily, it does fold in nicely though.
