Is the pump noisy?1 answer
I don’t want to get to a campsite and annoy the neighbours. Can anyone tell me if this pump is very noisy when it’s operating?
Jane - Darwin, NT(1 year ago)
G'day Jane,
We don't have a definitive way to answer this sorry, it is noisy, but ultimately it's a camping product designed to be used in a camping space. It wouldn't be noisier than an air compressor for example. Realistically, unless you're rocking up to camp at 9pm, your camp neighbors should have any issue with you using a pump for 10mins to set up your tent. Hope that helps.

DC to AC converter1 answer
Hi, I'd like to inflate the tent in the backyard sometimes - can I get an DC to AC converter for this?
Pete - Robina(3 years ago)
G'day Pete,
We've double-checked this with Zempire, and because the pump draws 14 Amps there isn't any 12V to 240V adapters we sell that will do this, unfortunately. You might be able to find something suitable at a store like Jaycar, however Zempire did advise that the output could be decreased by doing this, which possibly wouldn't inflate your tent to the required PSI.

What is the country of manufacture of this pump1 answer
Just after a feel for quality. Hopefully it isn't Chinese made
glenn - Tasmania(3 years ago)
G'day Glenn,
Zempire manufactures their products in China, however, they are made to a very high-quality standard, so please don't think that Chinese made products are inferior purely because of their country of origin. Most of the top-rated high-end tents are manufactured in China and are excellent quality.

Will this connect to a sup with halkely Roberts valve?3 answers
I think it would be suitable?
Tim - Bunbury wa (3 years ago)
G'day Tim,
The Zempire Supercell Pump is Boston Valve compatible only, and unfortunately will not work with a HR valve.
Lauren - Snowys(3 years ago)
Hi, I had a look on the Zempire website and it says this comes with both the HR adapter and the Boston adapter in the box. I'm thinking of buying it for the same purpose to pump up my SUP board. Is it possible to confirm this please?
Dan - Brisbane(3 years ago)
G'day Dan,
Thanks for the follow-up, it looks like we had incorrect information here. You're correct Zempire has indicated that the Supercell Pump comes with a HR valve adapter, so yes, it should suit a SUP, however one thing to note is that the pump will flip to a low-volume/high-pressure setting once it reaches 1 PSI which might mean the pump will take a little longer to inflate your SUP than a hand pump will.
