Sea to Summit Tek Towel1 answer
Hi, Looking at a Tek towel as a face washer to clean my face with before going to bed. Would the texture of this towel fit this task or would another in their range be more suitable? Thanks & regards Andrew
Andrew - Geelong(3 years ago)
G'day Andrew,
Yes, you could use one of the smaller Tek Towels as a face washer, the texture is fairly similar to a microfibre cloth, but with a slightly deeper/thicker pile depth. They do soak up a fair amount of water, so you might find that fully wetting it to use as a face washer will use a fair amount of water. Depending on your needs, you might find the airlite towel to be suitable too, they are much thinner and lighter, but won't get as sodden as the Tek Towel.

Drying clothes1 answer
Hi there, When travelling I will wash smalls in my hotel bathroom and thoroughly squeeze dry. I will sometimes tightly roll the garment in a towel to absorb more moisture. I’m thinking the Tek towel may be even more absorbent than a hotel towel. Is this correct? PS I’ve just ordered one of your washing bagsðŸ‘
Ann - Greenwith 5125(4 years ago)
G'day Ann,
Yes, the Tek Towels are pretty absorbent, and will likely do a good job of absorbing moisture from your washed items. Whether or not they'll absorb more than a hotel towel, good question, I'm only able to speculate, but I would say that yes, it is likely they will absorb more than a hotel towel.

Is the blue a cobalt blue or pacific blue?

G'day,
I've googled Cobalt Blue and Pacific Blue and seem to get many variations on a theme! The Tek Towel's actual colour, however, does match the colour on my computer screen.

G'day D,
The Sea to Summit Tek Towels now come in a nice little grey rubber case with a zipper around the edge.

Packaging1 answer
Does it come with the latest version's packaging? Similar to the Pocket Towel semi-rigid case - not the fabric zippered pouch.
Joshua - Carrum Downs(7 years ago)
G'day Joshua,
I've just checked the stock that we have, and we don't have the updated packaging for the Tek Towels yet. We should be receiving them at some point in the near future though, so when we do - we'll update the images on the product page.
